She was the one that completed our family. Sami was the one
who always made us smile. The most loyal, happy, do anything to make
you happy beautiful black labrador. She was special, she was my
girl, but, she was ready to go. Her vet came and Sami said Hi to
her, wagging her tail - but, she didn't get up. For the last hour
before the vet came, Sami gave me her last gift - she played with
her ball - I think just to make me happy, that's what we always did
since we got her almost 3 years ago. Then, she went outside to have
another drink of water from the waterfall(her new "spot"),
came in the house and I was drying her off by the door. My kids and
husband came and Sami just laid down right there and we sat down
with her, and spent that last hour loving her. She put her head on
my lap and fell asleep. When the vet came, she knew, she was happy.
Sami stretched against me, my husband was stroking her head, she
asked me to hold her paw, I hugged her and she just wanted to go.
Sami went sooo peacufully, I could feel that she was gone before the
vet said anything. It hit me so hard when I looked at her body and
Sami was not there, and my husband was crying, and it just felt
empty. My family will never be the same. Sami was the one who
brought something in our lives we didn't even know we were missing,
she left a huge hole in our lives and hearts, and right now, I don't
know how to go on without her in my life. Suzi

On her last day, the spark in her eye was gone, Sami just
