In Loving Memory of Spencer Died August 13th 2012 dx adenocarcinoma May '12 Linda's beautiful boy so very sadly missed 
Monday Spencer and I made took the final steps to the Rainbow Bridge. I held him and kissed him goodbye as he slipped away quickly and quietly. What a painful journey cancer has been again. There will always be a big piece of my heart that belongs to my beautiful boy. Now I need time to heal. Spencer had adenocarcinoma attached to his intestine in mid May. Surgery showed a tumor the size of a small baseball which came up quickly since he had been in both in March and April with no visible signs. Pathology showed that the margins were clean after removal but in less than 5 weeks after surgery he developed a large mass in his abdomen again. Adenocarcinoma does metastisize to other organs so the prognosis is 5 months. In Spencer's case it did something not seen before and formed again in his abdominal wall/muscle. It is just a cruel diagnosis and there is little that can be done.
