Re-Atum are two gods which were combined to make one by the Egyptian people. Their names mean the Complete One and Sun. They made everything: land, humans, gods, wind. They brought the first land, Heliopolis, out of the waters of chaos. They are the head of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis. Atum was belived to have been a serpent when the world started and will be a serpent at the end of the world. He is normally seen as an old man. Re saved the humans when the gods attacked them after they plotted against him. He was attacked by a poisonous serpent sent by Isis so that he would tell her his secrent name. Both are recognized by everyone in Ancient Egypt.
