Nephthys is the daughter of Nut and Geb. She is part of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis. Even though she is the wife of Seth she helped her sister Isis bring back Osiris. Her name means Mistress of the House. She is the mother of Anubis and she helps him protect the dead. She is normally seen as a woman wearing the hieroglyph of her name on her head.
