Anubis is the Ancient Egyptian God of Death and Mummification. He is a Jackal headed god. His name means "The Royal Child". He helped Isis and Nephthys bring Osiris back to life by creating the first mummy of him. He is the son of Osiris and Nephthys. To this day he guards the dead on their way to the underworld. The rest of the time he is the protector of Isis.
