Depending on your interests and personal preferences one or another of these may suit you better than another, or if you are totally addicted like myself you might join all of them.  Hobby Heaven Model Message Board. In 1999 Former Drag Racer, and current Model Car Dealer Tom Carter, Started a forum on his store website. What started as a way for Tom to keep his customers informed on happenings in the hobby, and allow them to communicate, has since grown into a treasure trove of how-to information, contest coverage, and posting of in progress and finished models of some of the best Model car builders in the world. Because this Forum is hosted on a Retail site there are some simple but important rules to posting on the board. Click here for the rules.  Scale Auto Magazine Forum. Scale Auto Magazine started in 1980 To inform and entertain car modelers around the world. Many of today's best model builders were introduced to the techniques and methods they use on their award winning models in the pages of Scale Auto Magazine. The model car hobby as it exists today, the aftermarket, the spread of model car specific contests and swap meets, etc, may not have existed with out the early support of this publication. With the advent of the world wide web, Scale Auto has grown to include an extensive web site, with exclusive online content, as well as an active forum.
