In a mystical enchanted land,
Before you and I were born,
Lived a magical creature,
Called the unicorn.
I once heard of a legend and
Some believe it's true,
That if you touch a unicorn's horn,
He'll grant a wish for you.

One day,
A lovely maiden went out on a quest,
To find herself a unicorn,
To grant her a request.
To bring to her, a special man,
Who would love her all her life,
Someone who would cherish her
And make her his wife.
She learned to find,
A unicorn was a difficult task indeed,
But when it came to admitting defeat,
She would not concede.
Then there came that fateful day,
When she happened to look,
In a grassy meadow, over the hill,
Down by a babbling brook.
Her eyes beheld a wonderous sight,
Lit by the sunrise of pink.
She saw a snow white unicorn,
Bent down to take a drink.

She sneaked up on the unicorn
And grabbed its horn with ease,
Then she told him of her wish
And ended it with please.
A flash of light, a cloud of smoke
And then her wish appeared.
The
man that she dreamed of,
Who would love her,
All the rest of her years.
As the unicorn ran off,
Through the morning dew,
The maiden was heard to say,
Sometimes, wishes do come true.
