The day I entered into this world
You were so caring and kind

Held me to your bosom close
And wrapped me in your arms
Nurtured me when I was sick
Kept me from bodily harms

Rocked me in a cradle of love
With warmth you held me tenderly
Fed me and changed me when wet
Just a few things you did for me

To show my appreciation mom
For all that you have done
