Debt Reduction Assistance
Step One
Before you do anything else,
complete this step. This is the easiest
and quickest way to help you begin to reduce your debt.
1.
Pull out all of
your Credit Cards.
2.
Flip the Credit
Cards Over.
3.
Locate the Phone
Number for the Company.
4.
Call the Company.
5.
Get a Real Live
Person on the Other line
6.
Say the
following:
“I
just received a credit card offer from another company and they are offering me
a 0% interest for the next twelve months.
I really like your company and I don’t want to switch companies, but I
don’t think I can pass up this offer. Unless you could lower my interest rate.”
The
customer service representative will check your credit rating and then either
say “NO” or offer to reduce your interest rate to some amount lower than you
are currently paying.
Repeat
this step for each and every credit card that you have.
You will be surprised and maybe shocked as to
how many companies will actually voluntarily reduce your interest rate.
A
1% reduction in your rate could save you hundreds or thousands in finance
charges.
