Over the years, I have rescued many animals, however, this one touches my heart the most...Stumbling over herself up the way to my house, I saw a cute freckle faced dog staring back at me through painfilled eyes. She left shorly after and later on the next day I found her again and discovered that this once happy creature had been hit by a car and now seemed to be in more pain than she had let on earlier. I took her in and took her at once to the Ellijay Animal Clinic. Dr. Thompson examined her, named her (Dot), and said that she had been hit by a car. He ended up telling me that her left leg had been shattered and that the only thing to save it would be an operation to put pins in her leg and also therapy that would cost over a $1000.If it doesnt get fixed, it will have to be amputated or she may have to be put down.I want to give her a chance, but I dont have the money, so I am asking anyone out there to please have a heart and help this poor animal. Give anything, 50 cents, ten dollars, anything will help. Thank you for your kindness.
