Free Xbox 360 Home Page

First off I will state that this is totally legit. The company Freepay is the umbrella site for Gratis which has been giving away "free" gifts for over 5 years. Do a Google search on either and you will find plenty of information to convince yourself this isn't a scam.

So what's the catch? How can someone give away this great stuff? Well the advertisers are the ones paying for the Xbox. They are rewarding you for bringing them new customers. Not everyone that signs up is after an Xbox, they often are just helping someone else out and wind up becoming one of the advertisers customers. You have to commit to signing up for an offer from one of these advertisers and in turn everyone you refer must do the same. This is not as bad as it sounds. You can sign up for an offer and be credited but not have to pay a dime. For instance You can try eFax's Free for a 30-Day trial but then cancel with-in 30 days. Obviously the advertisers don't want this, but oh well.

Note: You will need to use a credit card when you go to complete your offer even if you don't plan on following through beyond a trial. There are sites offering to give away stuff that don't require a credit card but more often than not I've heard they don't follow through with their end of the deal. These advertisers at Freepay that are buying our Xbox360's want legit customers.

Personally I did the BMG music club since I usually do it every couple years anyways to supplement my CD collection. (In reality, I'm the person these advertisers are looking for, someone to complete an offer and stay a customer.) I filled out a BMG application and in a couple day received an email stating they received it, I was then charged the $8.37 for shipping and have a valid account on BMG now which fulfills my obligation to complete an offer. I will admit (In spite of what I had read on the forums about Gratis being on the up and up) that this was still a scam and my credit card would be run up, but nope, was just like signing up for BMG. My Freepay profile has been updated to show I completed my offer, BMG has send my CD's.... all is well.

I suppose if I were really paranoid I could cancel the credit card I used to create my FreePay profile and change the payment options in my BMG account (I totally trust BMG have been a member a few times before in the past with no issues) to a new credit card, That way the credit card I used to initialy sign up would be history. I'm not that paranoid though. Banks are pretty good about covering credit card fraud if you report it to them ASAP anyways. (Yes this is from experience)

Some things to consider. The email you use in your profile will get SPAM SPAM SPAM. I strongly recommend you go to Hotmail and create a FREE throwaway email account. This is an account you wont use other than to sign up and don't care if it gets hammered with SPAM. Be sure and tell anyone you refer to do the same (or they will hate you) When you do create your profile at Freepay don't sign up for anything other than your minimum commitment, it will not help you get an Xbox. Just create your profile and choose what offer you wish to complete. That's it.

Once that is done you will still have to refer 8 people to fulfill your part of the deal. Be sure and use your referral link from Freepay so you get credit for the referral. Do not use the blast email off the Freepay site. Just send a personal email to family or friends and make sure to give them enough information to feel comfortable helping you out.

Tips: I would NOT post your referral links in newsgroups threads or forums unless you have permission. There are a LOT of people trying to get free goods this way and forum mods do not like what is basically SPAM on their sites. So use common courtesy when trying to get referrals. Include the link in a signature as opposed to starting a thread just asking for referals, send out personal emails, create a web-page like this or maybe a blog, heck you could even print off the referal URL and pass it out to your peers.

After you have completed one offer commitment and 8 referrals you will be sent an Xbox 360 when they are available Nov 15 (Estimate). It's that simple! (Note you can also go for other great free products like Ipods and PSP etc...) There are actually people who make getting free stuff a hobbie. There are many web forums online dedicated to people getting free things. I did a quick Google search and found one dedicated to just Freepay. Browse through the forums and any questions or fears will be addressed by others who use Freepay.
