The Defiant Wrestling Federation is a hybrid Rolplay/Angle Based federation. Here you are expected to roleplay for every match you receive, and you are expected to roleplay well. It is best to roleplay regardless if you have a match or not. This will further your devlopment. Even if you dont have match doesnt mean you aren't on the card. If for some reason you are unable to roleplay, contact President Marc through AIM Messenger (MarcAD687), or by E-mail(MarcD687@yahoo.com)or any of the Front Office.
The Defiant Wrestling Federation is a total fantasy federation. Therefore we only accept original wrestlers. Your character may be somewhat similar to characters in actual federations. However, changing stats and keeping the same gimmick as an actual wrestler is considered unoriginal. There is also no limit of wrestlers per user but do not plan on using more wrestlers than you can handle. Concentrate on making your wrestler better.
DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT ask for title shots. Everyone believes they deserve gold. The DWF front office is qualified enough to judge who deserves what, and we will give out title shots accordingly.
Whatever the DWF Front Office says is official. If you have a gripe take it to anyone on the Front Office. DO NOT take it to the boards.
There will be no bitching, whining, fighting, or advertising on the federation boards. If you have something to say about someone, say it in your roleplay or on Messenger.
Please keep cursing in your RP's to a minimum. Remember that these RP's are like promos that would air on TV (Projected as a TV-PG or TV-14 for TNT and TV-MA for Pay Per Views). Sexism is allowed in roleplays, but it will not be tolerated outside of a roleplay. Racism has no place in the Defiant Wrestling Federation. Questionable Roleplays will be erased and if there are any questions about content or subject of roleplays, feel free to ask any of the Front Office.
Do not use other wrestlers in your roleplays. You may only do this if you have the handler's permission to use his or her wrestler. Any Announcer or Interviewer may be used but no harm is to befall said person. Failure to comply with the use of a wrestler will result in the disqualification of the roleplay. If you do get permission to use his or her wrestler, stick to their wrestler's character. In other words, if the character doesn't drink, don't have him drinking a beer. If he hates people, don't make him say a bunch of people are great.
Don't copy lyrics, results, or such to beef up your roleplay. We here in the Defiant Wrestling Federation consider that a total lack of talent. There will no copying of anything here in the federation. If you wish to use lyrics, use no more than four short lines from the song. If you wish to use results or part of another wrestler's roleplay, have a short summary.
By applying you are agreeing to follow each and every rule posted here. Failure to comply with any part of these rules will result in:
First, a warning. Second, will be a suspension. And third, removal from the federation.
Above all, have fun. We're here to enjoy ourselves and put on a better product than is obviously available on any Television but we're also not going so far off the end that NO ONE would believe this product. Essentially, Have fun, enjoy yourselves and the product and feel free to give feedback at any time.
