The lights in the Dalek dome are two 12 volt car warning lights. As they were only lighting up at the end I removed the LED housing from the inside so that the whole of the casing would be lit up.

The lights were then inserted into the dome and connected into a simple 555 astable circuit held in the base to make them flash.
