My Dedication To Our Family

YIPPEE, as of July 10th, 2007, I
retired from the Michigan Army National Guard. You can view my
"Retirement Orders" by downloading an image of it at
www.geocities.com/nielsendddj/flame.html. My total amount of military
time credited is 20 years, 4 months and 24 days. Over eight years of that was as an active duty
member in the U.S. Air Force. I am proud of myself for the time I spent in the
military, but I am awfully glad that I am DONE. My time in the military took me
to many places: Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, New Mexico, Germany, Denmark,
Spain, Luxemburg, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Bosnia, and,
of course, Kosovo (Serbia). I was in the Air Force from February of 1982 to March of
1990. Then I had a five Year break. I was in the Michigan Army National Guard
from February of 1995 to July of 2007. I want to thank everyone who stood by my
side during my military career. Sandy, I Love You, you were great during my 17 &
1/2 months deployment.
