Memory Install
More memory is generally needed if a computer loads programs slowly or if you use large applications. Sometimes you may get errors telling you that you are short on system memory which will also be remedied with this service. The cost of the memory itself is not included in this price because depending on the type of memory your system requires, and how much you wish to install, the price can vary quite a bit.
Hard Drive Installation
If you have a hard drive that goes out, you may lose your information, but you will need a new hard drive to get your computer up and running again. Also your hard drive might be working fine, but you can get another one installed if you want more room to store information. A new hard drive requires physical installation, formatting and mounting so that your operating system will recognize it. Again, the price of the hard drive is not included in the installation price since they vary greatly in range. Some hard drives will cost more than the price to install them.
Graphics Card Install
Just like any other piece of hardware, graphics cards will burn out from time to time and need to be replaced. They are required to be installed and configured for optimal performance with your system. Some people may wish to upgrade the graphics card for the purpose of playing computer games. Graphics cards range anywhere from inexpensive to highly expensive. Most people only need an inexpensive one, however there are a lot of hard core gamers out there that wish to have top of the line video cards for their computer games. Since there is such a wide range, the cost of the card is not included in the install price.
Other services
Sometimes, though not as common, it is necessary to replace your motherboard and/or processor, or various other hardware components. There are no set prices for these kinds of services; it will most likely differ depending on the problem at hand. Feel free to inquire about such issues.
