Butler’s Secret Santa!

T’was the month before Christmas,

Right here in our town,

And St. Nick was visiting,

Kids all around.

From High Street to Western,

From Ogden to Kiel,

Notchwood to Homestead,

His speed was unreal!

You can take Santa’s picture,

With the kids, Dad and Mom,

Date and send to:

But keep Santa moving-

No more than one day

On your lawn or front porch,

He must be on his way!

Stick a gift bow outside

Upon your front door,

So people can see

Santa’s been there before.

Pass him to a friend’s house

Under cover of night

 Be very discreet-

Stay well out of sight!

Whoever has Santa on December Twenty Four,

Should not pass him along anymore.

Just keep him around ‘til the next Christmas season,

Or if you cannot, whatever the reason,

Return him to the other “Kloss” family abode,

We’re living at Number Ten, Van Buren Road.
