Time Away

This is a test, will I pass or fail?

I tried to hide my emotions under a veil.

They say it gets easier with each passing day,

Of this I sure hope and pray.

Thinking of you puts a smile on my face.

Time and my heart are in a race.

Sometimes they go slow and others fast,

Then I remember what was said:

"This too shall pass."
