This is the home page of our much loved VW, who we have affectionately named Borris A.K.A Chuggaboom.

He was born in Germany, (as were most of his brothers and sisters) on a Thursday in the sixth week of 1973. and sent over to the UK and registered in 1974 as new, so he just missed tax exemption laws, (which we think can be challenged, but we never got round to it because we couldn’t wait to use him).

He has been with us now for over 4 years, during that time our eldest teenager has turned into a young man not dissimilar in size to the incredible hulk and the younger one is growing up fast. With the edition of two growing puppies, an ever increasing pile of camping gear and the need for 4 wheel drive due to work, we have found ourselves needing a new friend in the shape of a long wheel base Landrover.

We debated selling Borris last year but could not bring ourselves to do the deed. But now needs must so here he is for sale, in all his glory.
