Each recognized breed of dog has a standered by which it is judged. This standard may differ slightly depending on kennel club. This sight will concerntrate on the Doberman Pincher standards of the American Kennel Club (AKC) which is one of the primary kennel clubs in the United States and the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) which is the primary kennel club for a large group of countries, which includes most of Europe.
The purpose is to help you to teach yourself about the recognize the various aspects of the confirmation of the Doberman. You will first review the breed standards of the AKC and FCI. You will then have the opportunity to review several pictures of various Dobermans. When you look at these pictures you should try to evaluate each dog for confirmation. After you do your own evalution you will have the opportunity to click on various areas of the pictures to see the evaluations of evaluators who are experienced in the Doberman breed.
