Jim Greig
I first met Ken on line in October of last year. We both received grants from ASA to attend the DPA Conference in Long Beach, and made plans on meeting in real life there.Ken enthusiastically jumped in and volunteered to help with the party I put together featuring Kirk 'Eli' Fletcher, currently with the Fabulous Thunderbirds and other nationally known musicians. It was a fundraiser for ASA & SSDP and was a fun evening for all in attendance.
If Ken wasn't so tenacious, he'd never make it from North Carolina to San Francisco, much less Seattle. I was kidding him when I told him, "Just turn right when you get to SF, right on up to Seattle, sort of like Forrest Gump".
His reply came a couple of days later. He and Kay Lee have been planning on visiting Seattle Hempfest as a final destination for this year's Journey ever since. No obstacle too big for Ken in this quest.
His ride will be an inspiration, and his effort to bring media attention to the Medical Marijuana Issues will benefit us all!
Let's all pitch in and do what we can to help Ken, the Team, and all patients nationwide who want their Medicine Rescheduled Now!!
Solidarity,
Jim GreigASA-OregonDPFOR
