| ["We Die Young" by Alice in Chains hits Jolly Roger's Pub and the fans stand. The camera pans around the arena to take in all of the raving fans before coming to a rest in front of Jack Deruke and Cliff Anderson.] Cliff Anderson:: Ladies and gents, welcome to Riptide! Jack Deruke:: Yeah, you little jerks. Welcome to Riptide. Cliff Anderson:: The Chosen have been running riot over the A.W.A. since Holier Than Thou. They cleaned up this past Thursday at the house show. And even though the Chosen have yet to arrive here tonight, Larry Thompson is scheduled to face the number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship, Brian Zane, in the main event. Jack Deruke:: The "King of Hardcore" Donny J. McNasty is set to make his return tonight. Cliff Anderson:: That's right. The Donny and Cletus McNasty will be teaming up to face the B.F.F.'s. And rumors have been floating around that Billy Sadistic will return here tonight. Jack Deruke:: Nevermind that geezer. We've got our first match comin' up, hoss. |
| [Wryght and Perfection are out first and are met with nothing but boos. Blaze comes out next and the fans are clearly starting to get behind the guy. Wryght attacks Blaze before he's even through the ropes and the referee calls for the bell. Wryght forces Blaze into the corner and lays in a vicious beatdown. The fans aren't happy as Wryght begins choking Blaze. Mr. Showtime is relentless.] Cliff Anderson:: Mikey Wryght isn't letting up. He's trying to prove a point and teach Rory Blaze a lesson...and that's just what he's doing. [Showtime continues his assault with Perfection cheering him on from ringside. Rory tries to fend off Wryght and finally catches Showtime off guard. Blaze begins his comeback and the fans begin cheering. Blaze has Showtime on his heels and he presses the advantage. Showtime tries to turn the momentum with a charging clothesline but Blaze catches him and plants him with the Rory Go 'Round! The fans erupt as Rory makes the cover. As this is happening Perfection climbs up onto the ring apron and distracts the referee. Rory awaits the count, but it never comes. Confused, Rory turns and spots Perfection on the ring apron. Enraged, Rory stomps over and shoves Perfection violently off the ring apron. Showtime takes advantage of the situation and catches Blaze with a low blow from behind, then quickly rolls him up. The referee turns around and makes the count as Showtime hooks a handful of tights. 1...2...3!] |
| [Rory Blaze kicks out, but it's a split second too late. Needless to say, he's not happy. Perfection crawls into the ring, still smarting a bit from being shoved off the ring apron. Perfection and Showtime celebrate in the ring while the fans boo. Blaze rolls out of the ring and retrieves a steel chair before returning. Showtime doesn't even see it coming and when Blaze drills him in the back with the chair the crowd erupts!] Cliff Anderson:: Rory Blaze was screwed out of this match and he just took it out on Showtime with a steel chair! [Showtime is down on his hands and knees and he turns to look up at Blaze. Rory brings the chair down hard across Showtime's head and he goes down. The fans are still cheering. Perfection steps in to stop the brutal assault. Blaze rears back and nails her in the head with the steel chair and she drops like a rock! The cheers from the crowd vanish and the arena goes totally silent. Showtime and Perfection are both down.] Cliff Anderson:: My God! Rory Blaze just struck a woman in the head with the steel chair! [The fans watch in stunned silence as Rory Blaze drops the steel chair and calmly walks out of the ring as if nothing happened.] |
| [The camera cuts to the backstage area where we find the B.F.F.'s doing some pre-match "calistenics" in their locker room. After some dual stretching formations Francis de Marco and Todd Rolle look up into the camera. "Tootsie" Rolle has a large grin on his face. I guess he really enjoys stretching...with another man's package in his face. To each his own. Francis walks over to his locker and pulls it open. A surprised expression comes across his face and he glances over at Rolle.] Francis de Marco:: Todd, did you put this in my locker? Todd Rolle:: Put what in your locker? [Francis slowly holds up a big, round orange.] Francis de Marco:: Todd, you know I don't like fruits. [There is a brief silence.] Todd Rolle:: What kinda fruits you talkin' about? [Francis throws the orange at him.] Francis de Marco:: Will you shut up? Now come over here and oil me up. |
| [The B.F.F.'s are the first team out and they're met with little reaction from the crowd. Cletus McNasty is out next and the volume in the crowd begins to rise in anticipation for the Nomad. Seconds later the King of Hardcore storms out from the back and the fans erupt! He holds his taped fists in the air as the fans continue to shower him with adulation. A chant starts up in the crowd.] Crowd:: King-of-Hardcore-*clap*-*clap*-*clap clap clap*! [The McNastys make their way to the ring and the quickly go after the B.F.F.'s. Cletus takes Francis to the outside and begins working him over while Rolle goes after Donny. Rolle is laying in some heavy right hands on the King of Hardcore. Donny is staggered and Rolle hits the ropes. Rolle goes for a running clothesline but McNasty catches him and slams him with the Final Destination out of nowhere! Donny quickly hooks the leg as the referee makes the count. 1...2...3!] Cliff Anderson:: Donny J. McNasty is back with a vengeance! He and Cletus made short work of the B.F.F.'s! Jack Deruke:: I think it was the orange. |
| Cliff Anderson:: Fans, this next match is something of a grudge match. It's for the Television Championship. Last week Griffin Youngblood viciously attacked Nick Teredo last week so that he could take his spot in the Television Championship match. Youngblood walked away with the gold and Teredo walked away with a beating. Tonight Teredo looks to set things right. [Almost as if on cue Nick Teredo walks out from the back unaccompanied by his entrance music. The fans are silent as Teredo enters the ring and grabs a microphone. Teredo doesn't look happy.] Nick Teredo:: Last week I was held back, once again, by the white man. Last week I was taken out by Griffin Youngblood in a sneak attack and he went on to take MY Television Championship. Griffin Youngblood, get your ass down here...NOW!!! [There is a brief pause before "Come As You Are" by Nirvana plays over the speakers. The fans begin booing as Griffin Youngblood walks out from the back with the Television Championship in hand. Something appears off about the Television Champion. It's almost as if he's void of any emotions. He slowly steps into the ring and comes nose to nose with Teredo.] Cliff Anderson:: All hell is about to break loose. [The two stare into each other's eyes for several seconds before Teredo hauls off and snaps Griffin's head back with a resounding open-handed slap! There is a gasp from the crowd as Griffin takes a step back to let the blow sink in. Griffin calmly turns around with a blank look on his face. The blank stare quickly turns to anger and he lays Teredo out with the Television Championship! Teredo is out cold!] |

| [The fans begin booing as the referee quickly calls for the bell. It's too late. The damage has already been done. Griffin lays in several unanswered shots to the head of Nick Teredo. Youngblood hits the Technicality on Teredo but rather than take the pin, Youngblood locks in the Griffin Submission. It's all academic from this point and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell.] Cliff Anderson:: After being struck in the head with the championship belt, Teredo didn't have a hope in hell of winning this match. |
| [Griffin exits the ring, grabs a microphone, and raises it to his mouth.] Griffin Youngblood:: If no one wants to give me respect, I'm just going to have to take it! [Griffin drops the microphone and begins digging around under the ring. He finally finds what he's looking for...his patented steel chain. He slides into the ring with his trusty weapon and wraps it around Teredo's neck like a noose. Griffin drags him out of the ring by the neck and drags him all the way up the aisle. Youngblood drags Teredo through the curtain into the backstage area.] Cliff Anderson:: Youngblood just choked Teredo out with the chain again, and he's hauled him all the way to the back by the neck! |
| [The cameras cut to the outside of Jolly Roger's Pub. A small crowd has amassed around a black limo that has just pulled up to the front door. The chauffeur has just opened the back door and Regina Cormier is the first one out followed immediately by the Heavyweight Champion, Kris Kartier. Destini and Revilation are out next. Olaf comes out after them and last, but not least, Larry Thompson emerges. The man that will face Brian Zane tonight in the main event.] Cliff Anderson:: The Chosen have officially arrived here tonight...about forty-five minutes late, I might add. [The group slowly enters the establishment as the fans give them grief. As a matter of fact, an enthusiastic fan attempts to get a little too close to the group and receives a clubbing blow across the chest from Olaf that send him to the ground.] |

| [We return to ringside to find the Folk already in the ring. The music hits and Pros n' Cons strut out from the back. The fans are going nuts. Payne and Jimmy walk down the aisle side by side and simultaneously enter the ring. Payne starts the match with Jingles and utterly dominates him. Jingles tags out to Jigsaw and Payne works him over, too. Payne makes a quick tag to Jimmy and the thief continues to push the offensive. Pros n' Cons keep Jigsaw down with quick, efficient tags and Jigsaw is being methodically worn down.] Cliff Anderson:: Now that Jimmy and the Good Doctor are on the same page, they've proven unstoppable in the tag team division. [Payne locks the Vaginal claw on Jigsaw and the fans erupt. Jingles tries to stop Payne but Jimmy meets him with the Five Finger Discount that sends him out of the ring. Payne releases the hold on Jigsaw, kicks him in the gut, and lifts the strongman into the air for some Sweet Payne. Jingsaw hits the mat hard and Payne makes the cover. 1...2...3!] Cliff Anderson:: Pros n' Cons make short work of the Folk and...wait a minute, what are No Gimmicks Needed doing out here? |
| [Sure enough, Larry Thompson and Olaf are standing in front of the ring entrance. Thompson has a grin on his face and a microphone in his hand as they look at the Tag Team Champions who are still standing in the ring. It takes a few seconds for Pros n' Cons to notice No Gimmicks Needed. When they do, the invite Olaf and Thompson to come on down to the ring.] Larry Thompson:: No, that's okay. We're fine right here where we are. [The fans begin booing, wanting No Gimmicks Needed to take the beating they've got coming.] Larry Thompson:: Besides, we've beaten your asses for the past two weeks. We thought we'd be generous this week and let you walk out of here on your own. Plus, I've gotta kicks Brian Zane's ass in just a few minutes and I don't want to tire myself by dishing out a severe beating. Let me tell you the real reason why we're out here... [The fans hate No Gimmicks Needed, and so do Pros n' Cons, for that matter.] Larry Thompson:: Those two belts you're carryin' around. You've got 'em. We want 'em. You wanna get your hands on us so bad? How'd next week sound? You bring the belts, we'll bring the pain. Whaddaya say? [There is no hesitation from either Payne or Jimmy. They both quickly nod their heads and agree to the title match.] Larry Thompson:: Good. I thought you'd see it our way. Now get the hell out of my ring. This week I beat Brian Zane's ass. Next week we beat YOUR ass! |
| [Speaking of Brian Zane, we cut to the backstage area where the Z-Man is getting ready for the main event. The sight of the number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship on the Atlantic-Tron causes the arena to erupt. He's got his piece of paper, known simply as "The List", and he's looking over the list of names.] Brian Zane:: Revilation...check. Olaf...check. Larry Thompson...ask me again in ten minutes. [Zane folds the piece of paper up and tucks it into his wrestling boot, along with a pen. The Z-Man stands, pulls his kneepads up, and heads for the door.] Brian Zane:: Larry Thompson is all that stands between you and I, Kris Kartier. After tonight, I'm coming for my Heavyweight Championship! [Zane shoves the cameraman out of the way and heads for the ring.] |
| [Thompson is out first, accompanied by his loyal tag team partner, Olaf. The Z-Man comes out next and the fans go crazy. Zane doesn't bother with the fans, he just heads straight for the ring. He slides into the ring and begins trading blows with Larry Thompson. Although both men are accomplished mat wrestlers, they opt to try and beat the snot out of each other instead of use their ring prowess. Thompson, the larger of the two, is getting the best of Zane and tries to level him with a wild haymaker. Zane ducks the swing and hits an inverted atomic drop that sends Thompson crawling to the outside of the ring for a breather. Olaf pulls himself up onto the ring apron to protest but Zane punches him right in the teeth and Olaf goes down. Zane is standing tall in the ring and the fans are loving every second of it!] Cliff Anderson:: Zane has No Gimmicks Needed running for cover! [Thompson takes every bit of the referee's ten-count before sliding back into the ring. Zane comes to meet him but walks right into a thumb to the eye. The fans boo Thompson's cheating ways but he just laughs. He pulls hair, gouges eyes, and bites...and loves it! With a little bit of distraction from the Giant German, Thompson has Zane right where he wants him. He wears Zane down with a chinlock before setting him up for the end. Thompson whips Zane into the ropes, catches him with a boot to the stomach, and drops him with the Next of Kin Notification. The crowd is silenced as Thompson makes the cover. 1...2...Zane drapes his foot across the bottom ropes. Thompson is irate and begins arguing with the referee. While this is going on, Olaf begins choking Zane on the ring apron. The fans erupt when Dr. Payne and Jimmy the Klepto sprint out from the back. They race around the ring and begin clobbering Olaf. Thompson yells at them from inside the ring as Zane slowly stands behind him. Larry slowly turns...right into the Zane Vice. Well, almost. Thompson shoves Zane off into the ropes and goes for his patented superkick to the throat...but Zane catches his foot! Zane spins Thompson around, kicks him in the gut, and plants him with the BZT! The fans roar as Zane quickly drops down for the cover. 1...2...3!] Cliff Anderson:: Zane's done it! He's gone through the Chosen! All that remains is Kris Kartier and the Heavyweight Championship! |
| [Zane pulls the List out of his boot, places it on Thompson's chest, and crosses the name off. Pros n' Cons continue to assault Olaf on the outside ramming him into the steel ringpost. Kris Kartier and Revilation run out from the back and slide into the ring. Destini and Regina come out behind them and watch from ringside. Zane goes after Kartier and tackles him to the mat but Revilation clubs him from behind. Kartier and Revilation team up against Zane and beat him down. Payne and Jimmy see this and come in to help. Payne goes after Revilation and corners him with rights and lefts. Jimmy goes after Kartier and walks right into a crushing spinebuster! Kartier begins stomping away on Jimmy. Thompson comes to and clobbers Payne from behind. Olaf shakes the cobwebs free and climbs into the ring. Kartier rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Thompson, Olaf, and Revilation beat down Pros n' Cons and Brian Zane as Kartier enters the ring with the steel chair.] Cliff Anderson:: The Chosen are ruling the ring again...and Kris Kartier's got a steel chair! [Willis Clayton sprints out from the back and dives into the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Kris Kartier turns, sees him coming, and blasts him with the steel chair! Clayton goes down in a heap. The Chosen pulls Payne to his feet and he takes a chairshot to the head. They pull Jimmy up and he gets the same. They pull Zane to his feet and he starts fighting back. Rights and lefts! The crowd is behind him. Thompson goes down! Revilation goes down! Kartier hits a brutal chairshot and Zane goes down! The fans begin booing, but the fun's not over yet. Kartier hands the chair to Thompson, and he knows exactly what to do with it.] Cliff Anderson:: Oh no...they're gonna snap Zane's arm just like they did to McCool last week! [Thompson fits the chair around Zane's left arm as the rest of the Chosen hold him down. Kris Kartier heads to the top rope and sizes Zane up. Just before he's about to leap, "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones hits! The fans erupt as all attention turns to the entrance. Seconds later the Hardcore Champion sprints out from the back with a baseball bat in hand!] Cliff Anderson:: Billy Sadistic's here and he's got a baseball bat with him! [Sadistic dives into the ring and Olaf meets him first. Olaf takes a stiff shot to the ribs. Revilation takes the bat across the bat. Thompson gets jabbed in the stomach with the bat, then takes a crushing blow to the back. Sadistic turns to drill Kartier but the Main Event beats him to it with a chairshot to Sadistic's skull! The crowd lets out a groan.] Cliff Anderson:: Kartier just wrapped that chair around Sadistic's skull! [It's only a matter of moments before the Chosen are all back on their feet reigning supreme. The show goes off the air with Kartier, Olaf, Revilation, and Thompson standing tall over their fallen foes.] Cliff Anderson:: Folks, that's all the time we have for you tonight. We'll see you next week! |
