| [Folks, welcome back to Jolly Roger's Pub. Of course, the show doesn't really take place in the pub. It takes place in the fish warehouse adjacent to it. And it's in this warehouse that the fans of the A.W.A. are waiting for the beginning of Riptide. "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains blares over the speakers and the fans shall wait no longer. The camera pans around the arena before coming to a rest in front of Cliff Anderson and Jack Deruke.] Cliff Anderson:: Ladies and gents, welcome to Riptide! We've got a huge main event scheduled for tonight! Jack Deruke:: That's right, sweet tits. Josh McCool defends the Atlantic Championship against Revilation. These two fruits hate each other. I just can't figure out why the Cormier's is givin' away a match like this on regular television... Cliff Anderson:: I have to agree with you. And since W. William Suhgs has been suspended Nick Teredo will face Cletus McNasty for the vacant Television Championship. And let's not forget that Pros n' Cons will defend their titles against the unlikely team of Mikey Wryght and newcomer Rory Blaze. Who in the hell thought that team would be a good idea? [Suddenly, the Atlantic-Tron comes to life...] |
| [At first, all that is seen is an enraged Griffin Youngblood. He seems to be talking to himself in a low growl, but the words are unintelligible. The camera zooms out to find Nick Teredo on the ground with a steel chain wrapped around his throat. He's obviously been choked out by Griffin Youngblood.] Griffin Youngblood:: You never actually lost the T.V. Title... [Part of Griffin looks full of sadness and anguish...but part of him looks mad as hell. Griffin leaves Teredo unconscious on the ground.] Cliff Anderson:: Who in the hell is he talking to? Is he referring to Teredo being screwed out of the title by Cody Duckett weeks ago? Jack Deruke:: No, I think he's talkin' 'bout himself... |

| [Seeing as how Nick Teredo is in no condition to compete, Griffin Youngblood has taken it upon himself to take his place. Cletus makes his way out next with Youngblood already in the ring.] Cliff Anderson:: Griffin and Donny McNasty have a violent, storied history dating back to the first Create Your Fate. Of course, Donny is still feeling the effects of the second Create Your Fate and won't return to action until next week. However, Cletus is Donny's cousin so I think in Griffin's eyes, that's guilty by association. [Griffin doesn't waste any time dismantling Cletus McNasty. Youngblood seems like a man possessed. It's almost as if he's being guided...or instructed...but an unseen entity. He works swifty and efficiently and it's only a few minutes before Griffin has Cletus trapped in the Griffin Submission. McNasty quickly taps out to the painful hold but Griffin decides that he's going to inflict a little more damage and continues to apply pressure for a short while after the match has ended.] Cliff Anderson:: Well, it appears we have our new Television Champion. A man that wasn't even scheduled to appear on tonight's show walks away with the Television Championship. |
| [The shot cuts to the backstage area where Cody Duckett appears to have a small dilemna on his hands. He wheels to and fro in his warped wheelchair trying to figure out a solution to his problem. As he's searching for a solution Regina Cormier and A.W.A. Heavyweight Champion Kris Kartier walk into the picture.] Regina Cormier:: Duckett, what in hell are you doing? [Duckett is clearly startled by the pair and spins around quickly to face them.] Cody Duckett:: Well, Arkham is nowhere to be found. Security says he never even showed up tonight. That means that there will be nobody to face Grendel tonight. The fans will be most displeased... Regina Cormier:: Screw the fans! The A.W.A. isn't about the fans. The A.W.A. is all about the Chosen. It's all about the Cormier's, the Chosen, and the gold! Cody Duckett:: I think he's out promoting his new movie...The Omen. Regina Cormier:: His new movie? He's not even in that movie! He has nothing to do with that movie! Cody Duckett:: No, I'm pretty sure he does. That's one of his moves, you know? [Regina looks like she's about to kill poor Ducket, and as she's doing this Kartier is pondering. He calmly places a hand on Regina's shoulder and offers a solution.] Kris Kartier:: Arkham doesn't wanna show up? He's too scared to take on the mighty Grendel? Fine. I'll take his place. I'll brave the beast. Hell, I'll even put the Heavyweight Championship on the line. [Both Duckett and Regina look exasperated. Kartier, however, just grins.] Kris Kartier:: Afterall, I want to be a fighting champion, unlike that joke Brian Zane... [Kartier shrugs his shoulders and walks out of view leaving Regina with her jaw hanging open. Not to be outdone, Regina turns to Duckett and tips him over, wheelchair and all, before leaving.] Cody Duckett:: Dammit... |

| Cliff Anderson:: It appears that in yet another last minute decision a match has been changed. Kris Kartier has not only filled in for a missing Arkham, but he's putting his Heavyweight Championship on the line as well. [Grendel is out first and receives very little reaction from the crowd. Kartier's entrance, on the other hand, is quite loud...and not in a good way. The fans are screaming at him, proof that he truly is the most hated man in the A.W.A. Regina is by the champ's side as he makes his way down the aisle. Kartier enters the ring, hands the belt to the referee, and extends his hand to Grendel. Grendel, the big oaf, is foolish enough to accept Kartier's false gesture and he pays the price.] Cliff Anderson:: Kris Kartier is all over Grendel. He may be the Main Event but tonight he's making an exception... [Kartier beats Grendel senseless and is sure to tell the fans just how good he is while doing it. Grendel is out on his feet but Kartier takes pleasure in punishing the jobber. After he's had his fun, he mercilessly ends the bout with the Karta-Hajime to retain the Heavyweight Championship. But the fun's not over yet. Regina enters the ring as Kartier holds Grendel for a wide open shot. Regina sizes Grendel up before kicking him square in the crotch. Regina and Kartier exit the ring to a chorus of boos. They wouldn't have it any other way.] Cliff Anderson:: A successful title defense has been marred by their disgusting actions... |
| [The camera catches up with Mr. Showtime and Perfection backstage. Perfection is trying to calm down a rather perturbed Mikey Wryght who isn't thrilled about having to team with the untested rookie Rory Blaze tonight.] Perfection:: But it's for the Tag Team Championship. Mikey Wryght:: I don't care if it's for the Holy Grail, I shouldn't be treated like this! [As the argument ensues, Rory Blaze calmly walks into view...] Mikey Wryght:: This is a slap in the face! A show of disrespect for the greatest star the A.W.A.'s ever seen. There's simply no excuse for teaming me up with a guy like... Rory Blaze:: ...Rory Blaze. Nice to meet you. [Rory offers his hand but Showtime slowly turns around and looks at it in disgust. Sensing his offer won't be taken, Rory retracts the hand.] Rory Blaze:: I've scouted Jimmy and Payne and I've been in the gym all week getting ready to win the gold tonight... Mikey Wryght:: You've gotta be kidding me?! Who does your hair? This is ridiculous! Look, just stay out of my way and don't cause any problems out there and maybe...just maybe...I won't slap the taste out of your mouth. [Showtime barges off with Perfection following closely behind. Rory seems a bit stunned as he's watches them leave.] |

| [The team of Mikey Wryght and Rory Blaze are the first to enter and they're met with a mixed reaction. Most fans boo Mr. Showtime while the rest aren't quite sure what to make of Rory Blaze yet. There's no debate about Pros n' Cons, and that's made readily apparant when they step through the curtain. The defeaning cheers tell you that the crowd loves them. The make their way to the ring and get ready for a fight.] Cliff Anderson:: Pros n' Cons...the reigning A.W.A. Tag Team Champions have yet to taste defeat in the tag team division. Perhaps Rory Blaze and Mikey Wryght will change that here tonight. [Rory and Jimmy look to start the match, but Showtime won't stand for it. He insists that he start the match and forces Blaze out onto the ring apron. Jimmy and Showtime start the match and Showtime shows off his impressive skills against the kleptomaniac. Blaze seems mildly impressed and gives Wryght a courtesy applause. Jimmy manages to tag in Dr. Payne. Showtime attempts to show off his skills again, but this time things don't go so well and he quickly finds his genitals tangled in the fingers of the wrestling gynecologist!] Cliff Anderson:: Vaginal Claw! He's got the Vaginal Claw on Showtime! [After some persuasion by the referee Payne finally releases the hold and is more than happy to tag Rory Blaze in. Blaze hits the ring and quickly takes Payne to the mat. Rory is on fire and has Payne on his heels. Payne tag Jimmy back in and he does no better. Blaze has Jimmy on the ropes and is about ready to put the Klepto away when Showtime greedily tags Blaze on the shoulder, obviously wanting the glory for himself. Rory takes exception to this and begins having words with Showtime. Mikey Wryght doesn't need to explain himself to anybody, least of all Rory Blaze, and because of this he slaps Rory across the face. Rory retaliates by shoving Showtime. Showtime stumbles backwards where Jimmy the Klepto catches him in a schoolboy rollup. The referee makes the count as Rory simply watches. 1...2...3!] Jack Deruke:: He stole the win! [The fans erupt. Showtime is up and he's not happy. He promptly walks over to Rory and shoves him in the chest. Rory quickly responds with a jaw-shattering slap that sends Showtime halfway through the ropes. Seeing as how he's already halfway through, Wryght decides to climb all of the way out of the ring. He and Perfection head up the aisle while shouting a few choice words at Rory Blaze. Pros n' Cons simply watch on in amusement.] |
| [Rory Blaze leaves to a small round of cheers, but as he's doing so Olaf and Larry Thompson sprint down to the ring blowing right past Blaze. The Good Doctor and the thief don't even see them coming. Thompson plants Jimmy with the Next of Kin Notification while Olaf hits the Goozle on Dr. Payne.] Cliff Anderson:: No Gimmicks Needed! What in the heck are they doing out here?! [As Olaf continues to put the boots to both men, Thompson bails out of the ring and grabs a steel chair and a microphone. He slides back into the ring while Olaf continues his assault on the Tag Team Champions.] Larry Thompson:: See, we've been droppin' hints for the past two weeks, but I guess you guys just aren't getting it. Me and the big man here, we want a shot at the Tag Team Titles. But if you can't seem to hear us, we're just gonna have to send you a louder message! [Thompson throws down the mic and raises the chair. Olaf sends Payne towards him and Thompson blasts him between the eyes with the steel chair. Payne goes down and now it's Jimmy's turn. CRACK! Jimmy takes one right in the face. Both men are down and both men are bleeding. The fans are booing but Thompson and Olaf just don't care. Thompson continues to hammer both men with the chair as Olaf holds off security. The chair is becoming a mangled wreck but Thompson continues to assault both men mercilessly! Finally, No Gimmicks Needed finish their attack leaving Pros n' Cons a bloody mess. Thompson and Olaf exit the ring as medics rush to the aid of the Tag Team Champions. Thompson and Olaf just watch and smile as Jimmy and Payne are loaded onto stretchers and taken to ambulances.] Cliff Anderson:: That was vile and uncalled for... |
| [Just as Pros n' Cons are hauled out of the arena "Miss Independent" by Kelly Clarkson hits. The boos continue as Regina Cormier steps out from the back looks fake as ever. Thompson and Olaf still stand in the aisle and all attention is on Regina.] Regina Cormier:: Things just keep looking better and better for the Chosen. While we're at it, why don't we just turn this into a night of celebrations. Kris Kartier successfully defended the Heavyweight Championship. No Gimmicks Needed have just decimated the Tag Team Champions. Tonight, in the main event, Revilation is going to bring the Atlantic Championship home to the Chosen. And in just a few moments, Olaf, the Giant German, is going to obliviate Brian Zane. [Some fans boo while others try to determine just what in the hell "obliviate" means.] Regina Cormier:: I've already stated that anybody that illegally interferes in this match between Olaf and Zane will be fired...on the spot! But I want to ensure that nobody gets fired here tonight, which is why I've picked a special guest enforcer. A man that will act as an unbiased official while keeping any unwanted interference at bay. I'm talking about a man's man. I'm talking about...Larry Thompson. [The camera zooms in on Larry Thompson as a broad grin spreads across his face. Olaf simply laughs. The crowd isn't too happy about the decision. With Larry Thompson wearing the black and white stripes, there's no way in hell Zane stands a chance.] |

| [Larry Thompson and Olaf are already waiting in the ring when the Z-Man's music hits. The crowd erupts as Brian Zane stomps out from the back. He's not happy with the situation, but he's still ready to kick the tar out of Olaf. Zane enters the ring and Olaf is all over him. Zane fights back, though, with several punches to the guts that stagger the big man. Zane hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and chopblocks Olaf's leg out from under him. The crowd is going crazy. Thompson tries to admonish Zane, but he's not having any of it. Zane is a madman and he isn't letting up on Olaf at all. He continues to work on Olaf's leg and the Giant German isn't even capable of standing. Zane, the technician, is doing a great job of keeping Olaf off his feet.] Cliff Anderson:: Brian Zane is determined. Nobody's handled Olaf like this before. He's physically disecting the big man. [Zane continues to try to work a submission out of Olaf but he just won't quit. After some distraction on the part of Thompson, Olaf manages to mount an offense. Olaf uses his giant meathooks to pummel Zane. Olaf hits a powerslam and a cover. Thompson with the count. 1.2.kickout! The quick count by Thompson earns him the wrath of the crowd. Olaf with a piledriver and another cover. 1.2.kickout! Zane somehow manages to kickout again. Olaf has Zane right where he wants him and hits the ropes. He goes for a lariat but Zane catches him massive arm, twists it, and locks in the Zane Vice! Olaf tries to power free but Zane drags him to the mat. Thompson doesn't know what to do as Olaf struggles to break free. Olaf feverishly begins tapping the mat but Thompson won't call for the bell. Zane continues to apply pressure and the tapping becomes frantic. The pain is too much and Olaf's body begins to go limp. Thompson has no choice but to call for the bell...right before he stomps Zane a good one across the skull!] Cliff Anderson:: Zane's won the match, but I think Thompson's going to get him a bed beside Jimmy and Payne in the hospital! |
| [Thompson exits the ring and grabs a new steel chair before returning. The fans are booing at the top of their lungs. Thompson sizes Zane up and waits for him to stand. When he does, Thompson charges him with the chair. Thompson swings but Zane hits a dropkick out of nowhere that sends the chair smashing into the face of Thompson. Thompson goes down and quickly rolls out of the ring. Zane grabs the chair and dares him to come back in. Thompson wants no part of the Z-Man. Olaf begins to stir and tries to sit up but takes a shot in the teeth from Zane's steel chair. Olaf is back down as Zane pulls the list and a pen out of his boot. He places the list on Olaf's massive chest and crosses his name off. The fans begin cheering.] Cliff Anderson:: Two down, two to go. Zane's just crossed "Loaf" off the list. [Zane exits through the fans as Thompson returns to check on his fallen partner. Thompson helps Olaf to the back as the fans shower them with ridicule and laughter.] |
| [Thompson and Olaf are met by the rest of the Chosen upon reaching the backstage area. Kartier, Revilation, Destini, and Regina are furious at the blow that was just struck against the Chosen. Regina appears to be especially upset.] Regina Cormier:: That bastard! That scum! That son of a bitch! [The rest of the group joins in, cursing Brian Zane for the thorn in their side that he is.] Regina Cormier:: He'll pay for this. I swear it! That son of a bitch... [And speaking of a Son of a Bitch, the Atlantic Champion Josh McCool walks around the corner. He's Revilation opponent tonight and what a great way to soften him up...] Regina Cormier:: Get him! [Kartier, Revilation, Thompson, and Olaf jump the Atlantic Champion, who is caught by surprise. He gets in a few good shots but is obviously no match for four other men. They begin beating him severely in the backstage area as Regina and Destini watch on in satisfaction. Destini paintbrushes him across the face while Regina delivers a kick to the testicles. McCool is beaten bloody, then dragged out from the back and down to the ring.] |

| Cliff Anderson:: This isn't right. McCool's in no condition to compete here tonight. He's just had the living hell beaten out of him by the Chosen. Jack Deruke:: So much for being the Chosen Champion... [McCool is shoved into the ring, but he's hurting badly. Under orders from Regina Cormier, referee Perry Daton is forced to call for the bell. Revilation simply walks in a places a foot on McCool's chest. Daton reluctantly makes the count and the crowd is already booing. 1...2...McCool shoves the foot off his chest in defiance! The crowd erupts. Revilation kneels down and lands several unanswered blows against the skull of McCool before covering him again. 1...2...3!] Cliff Anderson:: The beating would have been too much for any man to withstand. The title was just stolen from McCool! [But the beating is not over yet. The Chosen flood the ring and continue to take shots at McCool.] |
| [Thompson exits the ring and grabs another steel chair. Tossing it into the ring, Thompson rolls back in. The rest of the members of the Chosen hold McCool down as the chair is placed onto his forearm. Suddenly, "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones plays over the speakers and the lights begin to flicker. The fans erupt as all attention turns to the entrance. After about a minute, the music ceases and the lighting resumes. Billy Sadistic is nowhere to be found.] Cliff Anderson:: That was the Phenom's music. He and McCool used to be best friends. Now it appears that McCool doesn't have a friend in the world. [Thompson climbs to the top rope and pauses for a few moments before taking flight. He stomps down onto the chair hard and the crowd gasps. McCool clutches at his forearm and begins rolling around in pain as the Chosen celebrate in the ring.] Cliff Anderson:: No! Jack Deruke:: Yes! Cliff Anderson:: They've just snapped McCool's arm! |
| [Brian Zane sprints out from the back and Willis Clayton's not far behind him. The Z-Man and Clayton dive into the ring and start hitting anything that moves. McCool rolls to the outside and he's still clutching his right forearm in pain. Clayton drops Thompson with a clothesline but walks right into a Goozle from Olaf. Zane plants Revilation with the BZT, but Kartier is waiting for Zane to stand so that he can lock in the Karta-Hajime.] Cliff Anderson:: The Chosen are unstoppable! [The show goes off the air with the Chosen reigning supreme in the ring.] |
