Opening
[It's 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday which means it's time for another A.W.A. house show! Yay! Four one-sided matchups are in store for you tonight so you can see your favorite stars beat the living tar out of their opponents. However, there are also a few new faces on the card as well, so sit tight and don't go anywhere. The matches are up next.]
Opener
Standard
Jimmy the Klepto vs. Lance Pennington
---
[Neither of these men look like they belong in a wrestling ring. Both are small, but at least Jimmy looks like he's got some athletic ability. Jimmy takes control from Lance early on in the match and never gives it back. After seven minutes of horsing around, Jimmy drills Pennington with the Five Finger Discount, followed by the cover to pick up the pinfall victory. After the match, Jimmy climbs up onto the turnbuckle to lead his fans in a cheer.]
Softening him up...
[But the cheer is short-lived as Griffin Youngblood emerges from the back with a chain wrapped around his wrist. Youngblood attacks Jimmy from behind and begins laying into him with his chain-wrapped fist. Eventually, the assault turns to Jimmy's leg. Chants for Dr. Payne echo throughout the arena as Griffin wraps the chain around Jimmy's leg and hangs him over the top rope. Eventually, Bruce Vohland and the rest of his security officers charge the ring and send Youngblood out of the ring.]
#2
Standard, Tag Team
B.F.F.'s vs. Bobby Smith & The Grappler Wrestler
---
[This match features the debut of the B.F.F.'s as well as the debut of the Grappler Wrestler. The early stages of the match feature the B.F.F.'s putting a beatin' on Bobby Smith with some nice tandem offense. Midway through the match, the Generic One tags in his partner. The Grappler Wrestler cleans house and an all out brawl ensues that sees all four men spilling to the outside for a wild brawl. Just before the ten-count, the Grappler Wrestler has enough sense to dive back into the ring to pick up the count out victory for his team. The B.F.F.'s don't seem to mind as they continue hammering away on Smith outside the ring. The Grappler Wrestler doesn't seem to mind, either.]
#3
Standard
Griffin Youngblood vs. Grendel
---
[Youngblood makes his way to the ring and is met by a hostile crowd. The fans are still angry at him for what he did to the A.W.A.'s favorite thief. Youngblood pays them no mind and goes straight for Grendel before the bell even sounds. Youngblood makes short work of Grendel and has him trapped in the Griffin Submission in under two minutes. It's only a matter of seconds before the big man taps out, giving Griffin Youngblood the submission victory. The fans continue booing as Griffin walks to the back.]
Main Event
Standard
Brian Zane vs. Willis Clayton
---
[In the main event, it's Brian Zane taking on the hometown hero, Willis Clayton. The fans cheer for Clayton, but this only makes Zane's arrogant smile more...arrogant. Zane feels out his opponent in the early stages of the match but quickly goes to work on the arm. Clayton comes back and singles out Zane's knee, but the purple-clad technician is back in control in the blink of an eye and has Willis rocking with the Seawalk Jab Combo. Even though the fans dislike Zane, they can't help but count along. Zane ends the match at the twelve minute mark when he locks Clayton in the clutches of his dastardly Zane Vice to pick up the tap out victory. Zane hops up onto the turnbuckle to mock his fans as the show comes to an end.]
