| [The A.W.A.'s house show opens at 6:00 p.m. sharp to a crowd of just over a hundred. There are no announcers. No big screen. No pyro. Just a house show. Some guys might be here for a tryout match while others are just here to move up the ranks of the A.W.A. The bottom line is that if you're here, you're gonna see some good old fashioned wrestling.] |
| ["The Native Son" Nick Teredo enters the ringside area where Lance Pennington is already waiting in the ring. Instead of entering the ring, Teredo approaches the time keeper and grabs a microphone to address the crowd.] Nick Teredo:: So this is what you've done to Virginia? Rednecks and incest only rivaled by its sister state West Virginia! [The fans begin to boo.] Nick Teredo:: Of course, I should be careful referring to West Virginia as a sister state. Some of you may get a little excited over the word sister and try to make a move. [The booing intesifies.] Nick Teredo:: It doesn't seem like it was all that long ago that my people owned this land. We were a happy people until you came across the ocean and spread disease across our lands and then claimed it for your own. [Teredo steps onto the ring apron as he continues his verbal assault on the fans.] Nick Teredo:: Tonight, I'm put into the ring against the palest skin you could find. He is the quintessential white male. He probably grew up with a mom, a dad, a brother, a sister, and a little dog named Toto. Unfortunately, the only thing that this made Lance is WEAK! [The fans continue booing as Teredo steps through the ropes and looks into Pennington's eyes.] Nick Teredo:: Tonight, I begin taking back what rightfully belongs to my people, and I start with you! [Lance Pennington appears a bit intimidated as Nick Teredo turns to toss the microphone out of the ring. In the blink of an eye, Teredo has whipped back around, catching Pennington with a haymaker!] |
| [Nick Teredo is in control from the beginning. Lance throws some weak offense at the new guy, but to no avail. Teredo's already gotten the jump on his four-eyed foe and he presses his advantage. Nick Teredo beats Pennington from pillar to post before finally putting his lights out with the Grip of Huitzilopochtli for the submission victory. Teredo stands victorious as the fans shower him with boos.] |
| [Although Grendel is the larger of the two men, Larry Thompson overpowers the bigger man from the offset. Grendel gets in some weak offense, but Larry Thompson is a man possessed. A man on a mission, Larry Thompson just looks like he wants to hurt somebody. The action spills to the outside and into the crowd, sending fans scattering in all directions in fear. In danger of being counted out, Thompson brings Grendel back into the ring where, after toying with him for a few minutes, he plants the big man with the Next of Kin Notification DDT for the three-count and the win.] |
| [The Generic One is the first man out, and he's met with laughter. Dr. Payne comes out, and he's also met with laughter...but good laughter. The fans love the Good Doctor. They just laugh at Bobby Smith. Even Dr. Payne laughs at Bobby Smith. Smith goes right after Payne to start the match, but Payne levels him with a forearm blow. Payne works over the Generic One and locks him in the dreaded clutches of the Vaginal Claw not once, not twice, but thrice throughout the course of the match. And although Smith's testicles have been tortured, it's finally Sweet Payne that puts his lights out for the one, two, three. Payne picks up an impressive, yet expected, win over Bobby Smith.] |

| [The featured bout of tonight's event is a non-title match pitting the Hardcore Champion, Revilation, against up-and-comer Willis Clayton. Willis takes control of the match from the beginning and tries to wear down the champion with several headlock variations. However, Clayton slips up and that's all the opportunity Revilation needs to turn the tide. The Hardcore Champion uses his high-impact, no-nonsense offense to take Clayton apart in a matter of a few minutes. Revilation hits the Sacrifyce in the center of the ring, but doesn't go for the cover. Instead, he sticks his fingers into Clayton's mouth and locks in Speak No Evil. Clayton is already unconscious by this point and the referee calls for the bell, awarding the match to Revilation. Revilation grabs his belt and leaves Clayton out cold in the center of the ring as the show comes to an end.] |
