Subject: Complaint of Commitment
Dear Miss Annette Burke.
Since I am a resident of the Northern Territory and indeed a resident of The City of Palmerston I would like to ask you a few questions since you The Palmerston City Council have done nothing about the following concerns to the Northern Territory.
As to " Why " the local Media such as Darwin ABC TV, Darwin Channel 9 and Darwin channel 7 known also known as Southern cross TV station and all Northern Territory radio stations and Newspapers with all their Multimedia internet feeds along with the Northern Territory Government and Northern Territory weather bureau have not been fully acknowledging The City of Palmerston as a " CITY " in their reporting of activities in or about our " The City of Palmerston " area.
I also have taken note of the fact too that our own Palmerston City Council does also not have the correct address either in that yous are insisting on calling the City of Palmerston just " Palmerston " why not then call it " Palmerston City " on your mailing address instead of Palmerston.
I would point out to yous some points which you should know and seemly dont in that as of 1999 when the then Township of Palmerston Town was first gazzeted as being declared a CITY and indeed where by that proclamation was indeed inacted upon in 2000 when the then old Township of Palmerston Town was declared and proclaimed to be known as The CITY of Palmerston there after.
And yet The Palmerston City Council over these past 7 years have all stood by and done nothing concerning the Local Media having kept misrepresenting our CITY over the past 7 years having seen, heard and read such misrepresentation having taken place concerning our City of Palmerston in the Media as well as by the Northern Territory Government and Tourist bureau in them all having still been perpetuating and insisting in failing to recognise along with calling our city a CITY rather than all just having been referring to a geographical reference to some Palmerston on a map!.
Then there is NO Palmerston in the Northern Territory unless you are referring to a geographical reference where by then there is NO City Council office or suburbs in a geographical reference.
All this still having taken place after the declared fact in which the old Township of Palmerston was declared and proclaimed to be a " City " in 2000 now some 7 years on we still are seeing ,hearing and reading such misrepresentation having taken place to our " City of Palmerston ".
I would point out to yous that yous will comply with declared laws and lawful acts and use and apply them in accordance with all declared laws and acts seeing how we do pay TAX’s and GST as CITY.
