Let me thank my fellow colleagues for showing confidence in my team and elevating me for the coveted post of President of IDA Alappuzha. For the first time a mega IDA event is going to be held in Alleppey. Even though the Incoming IDA State Conference is Conducted by IDA Mavelikkara Branch, the very fact that it is going to be held in the heart of ALLEPPEY town makes us happy and it is our duty to do the needful for the successful conducting of the programs. So I hope this year will be a memorable one in the history of IDA Alappuzha. This year we are planning to conduct some state level CDE's and your whole hearted support is required for all of these program Thank You Dr.Ajith Samson

The Treasurer informs the members about prompt payment of all their dues and renewal of registrations. Also be aware that the State conference of this year will be held in Alleppey For the first time and if your membership is not current then you may be denied an entry to the programs conducted in your own backyard

The Indian Dental Association, Alappuzha branch is celebrating it's 7th year in existence. The association has grown it's member strength to 60 in such a short period of time. This was possible by the able leadership of our past presidents like Dr.Raveendran Nair, Dr.Chandy Joseph, Dr.Jihanudeen , Dr.Binu Mathew, Dr.Venugopal.G and Dr.Prashanth

There will be a CDE on Implantology 22 April 07 at Mallan's Lakeside Implantology Centre. This will be a unique opportunity for aspiring implantologists to start their career. The CDE mainly deals with replacement of single anterior tooth and implant supported dentures with MDI.This latest flapless technique is the latest in immediate replacement therapy with very less chair time and very good patient comfort. To conduct CDH programs in association with Colgate,Check the possibility of conducting a state level CDE on Implants.
Conduct a Picnic to Vazhachaal and to conduct a community health program with a Rotary Club
To Conduct a training program for Dentists On Personality Development and to Give training for Dental supporting staff

President 2007 Dr.Ajith Samson Has been Installed as the new IDA Alappuzha President for the year 2006-07 Dr.Ajith Passed His BDS from CODS Manipal and Did His MDS in OMFS from AB Shetty Dental College Mangalore. At Presently He is working as Prof and HOD Dept of OMFS, TD Medical College Vanadanam. He is Married to Anita and Blessed with two kids Sangeetha and Nikita. We all wish him a great IDA year ahead in 2007
