Because we also have a pet store and boarding kennel, we do not qualify for any type of aide for our rescue program. When we take these pets in we de-worm them, give them a DHLP shot, take them to the vet for their rabies shot, take care of any fleas, ticks, ear mites etc, and cut their nails and bathe them. If they are in need of medical attention we take care of that also. All of this comes out of our pockets so we really appreciate any help we can get from the public. This can be in the form of money (for shots, vets, de-woermer, flea products etc), paper towels, laundry soap, garbage bags, bleach, cotton balls and swabs, scoopable cat litter, dog or cat treats, toys, leashes, and collars (even if they are used).
