Random Thoughts: assorted creativity by John Austin

This is a bunch of old stuff that, honestly, nobody needs to see. I guess it's not too shabby overall, but it's been at least five years since I added or changed anything, and most of it is still incomplete, because I am a lazy bunny.

The 98 Portfolio - The painting and poems I submitted to Wheaton College. I credit this portfolio with allowing me to ooze my way through their esteemed doors. Well, that and my HYPNOTIC POWERS which I used freely throughout the admission process.
Interesting note: The muse of the poem "Anthea" was none other than H. Anthe Davis, the noteworthy and under-recognized dark fantasy writer. This note will be a great deal more interesting as soon as she gets the recognition she deserves. Since I abandoned my links section in the last update, her site is The City at the Edge of the Wasteland. Some subject material may not be comfortable to all readers.

Meadowswood: Rhapsody in Fetters and Silk - Stuff from last year, which i just wish could live up to this title i gave it. (probably not coming since i expect to remain quite lazy indeed)

Humanoidia - At long last! The weird, chemical-imbalance-driven imagery i've been creating from autumn 99 through summer 2000 (and beyond?). This is visual art, and most of it is really my ripping my ribcage open and letting you poke my guts, so be kind and tread carefully.

Vespers and Willowwhispers- my material of Spring and so forth 2000. The e.e. cummings influence should be painfully clear - indeed, this is the point at which i decided that to be truly faithful to their intent, the poems had to be image files. The primary muse for this period was my (now ex-)girlfriend, who likes to be known as Vesper.

Do you get the Point?
