1996 M3 Lightweight
Read about the lightweight on the M3 Information page, but it was a production M3 made with lower weight materials and made specially for the track. The M wheels, rear wing, and M flag paint job were all standard issue.

Yes it's in quotes, because this isn't a production car. It has also been called a 330ti, by the owner who was selling it, (I don't know if it's sold or not, if you'd like to find out e-mail me) It's a BMW Compact (ti) which has been refitted with an M3 engine. A 1996 3.2 or 3.0 liter resides inside, I'm not sure which. But, the transmission, brakes, tires, suspensions, and those M Contour wheels are are 96 M3 parts. The engine is also an INTERCOOLED TURBO. A visual run over shows M mirrors, M side skirts, M front air dam, the M wheels, European turn signals and Euro lights. It was in California, unless it's sold, and I would love to drive one!
