Last Cruise Event

The Last Cruise is a charitable event that takes place each year in State College, Pennsylvania (ya know, where PennState main campus is). 'Cruising' has become an illegal act in State College: If you circle the same block more than 3 times in an hour, you can be sited for cruising. So this event allows the registered members take a last cruise through the city. It mainly was an event for classic American cars, like Old Chevy's and Fords. But, since the BMW CCA and the Porsche Club of America decided to enter in new European classes, they've been stealing the show. The proceeds benefit the Centre County Youth Services Bureau

2002, times 2

On the left we have Brian Zappe's 1972 2002tii. He's a BMW CCA member from Harrisburg. It's a late model '72,so it has a different style of front seat and gravity reel seatbelts (as opposed to non-retracting belts). It also has been lowered slightly, so the 1972 2002 next to it looks much taller. That one belongs to Uncle Bob, and won 3rd place in the Foreign Catergory, 1970-present (I think). The other places were taken by Porsches. Had the tii been entered, it probably would have taken a place as well. Maybe next year, when 95TII gets entered.

M Roadster

One of the many cars on hand for the Cruise was this 1999 BMW M Roadster. The color is Esteroil, and those are M Wheels, along with the special M Mirrors and seats. Gotta be a fun car, and deffinitely great to see along with the original Pocket-Rocket '02s. Next to is a Mustang GT 5.0L. Newer than my friend's '84 GT, it has to be as great!

Ford Model T

Also showing up at the event, was this Model T (can anyone tell me differently if it's not a Tin Lizzie?). It ran, despite it's appearance. Deer horns (real ones) flanked the rear, along with the gun that got them. A similar T was there, in mint condition, and won some prizes. This one is cooler though (and much more patriotic).
