Nestled in the Valley of the Esmer'aldax, is a city held captive by an enchanted bowel of lush green vegetation found in the southern most tip of the southern most hemisphere of Vernemeton. The city bears the name of the valley and of its inhabitants, an Elven race unique to Vernemeton.
They appear Elven in all features save for their rare beauty that defies all logic. Their beauty is endless and a many a traveler to the city has been caught spellbound by their beauty. Shimmering pale green-silver flesh catches the suns' fleeting rays as the Elven masters and crafters return home from a long day's foray in the forests of their peaceful valley. Even the ebon cloak of night hides nothing from their fathomless gaze. Luxurious silver hair catches the rays of the celestial orbs in their beauty. They are slender limbed, lithe of form, and delicate standing no more than 6'2".

They are hunters, bards, artists, singers, dancers, scholars, mages, and so much more. These are a proud people who can trace their history to the beginnings of time on this planet. A people that love nature in all her splendor and thread on a delicate balance of taking from her and giving back to her.
However, with beauty comes a prize. Once in their mist shrouded history, there was no wall and they had no fears. However, now they live behind a walled city molded from the ground's fleshy treasures. Powerful runes littler the slate-green ancient wall. The wall serves a purpose that of keeping the nameless predator that seeks to destroy them into oblivion. What is this nameless horror that comes out of the forests at night? No one knows or recalls. They have never seen it, but they know it is there. The air chills to the temperature of the grave and a hellish howling echoes through out the valley when night falls over the valley. The howling congeals the blood of the hardiest warrior to ice.
Until recently, CR explorers have come to this valley and stumbled upon the walled city and its inhabitants. There are talks of negotiating trade for goods and knowledge.
