Things to be aware of: Although the image shown above is what usually occurs in the game, there are always slight variations. For instance, sometimes steps four and five are not needed. As you play, do not mindlessly just add blocks here and there, be wary of where your opponent has placed his!

1.put in lower right corner(remember your move has to touch on of the pieces!)
2.if he puts it in the upper right corner.keep on building your line to 4 in a row.if he puts it in the lower right to block you skip to the middle of step 3.
3.he will block it. then put your piece right next to your opponent's upper right piece
4.he will then most likely put it on top of your last move. put a piece diagonal to his move (upper right corner).
5. if he continues his line then block him. THEN do the next move listed (the actual sentence). if not then no matter what he does put it 3 squares below your last move and you should have made a diamond shape.
6. block him if he threatens you, but when he finishes put a piece to the right of his upper rightmost piece(did you understand?).
7.like i said before block any threats that could possibly let him win before you do(look carefully)and then put a piece to the right of your upper most piece.
8.WIN!
