IV. Public Session

Harr advises that personnel and legal issues will not be discussed and that any speaker needs to sit at the table in front of the board when addressing them.

Harr: Cheryl Haddy

Cheryl Haddy: I am concerned that we will not get any answers. We want to know what to expect when our kids come back in August. None of our concerns have been answered at this meeting. Maybe if we got some answers we would have a change of heart. My question is -- when are we going to get answers. That is the question of a lot of others. There is no parent committee.

Parent: I work in a facility where high turnover would be a problem. The turnover here is 50%. I am concerned about the children. Where I work that would greatly effect the patients. How will this affect my child? You are all professionals we need an explanation. It (teacher turnover) reflects this institution. I don't want it to affect my child's education.

Lori Lin: First I'd like to thank you about the playground. That has been a big concern. I'd like to know how many days the children go to school 189 or 195. Speak to teachers, pull report cards. What are the actual days? Really what are the actual days? You can't give answers? Can I ask that after the meeting closes?

Harr: Meeting Adjourned..
