In the last six years, he has contributed to the Associated Press, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Rolling Stone Magazine and more than a dozen other publications. His public relations clients have included Governor Ed Rendell's 2002 and 2006 campaigns, Paste Magazine and the Allegheny County Labor Council. MATTHEW PENDRAL

Matt has loved cameras since he could hold them. He began as a yearbook photographer for his elementary school near Cleveland, Ohio in 1993. He provided instructional photography for chemistry labs in the area as well as a commercial photography to a Cleveland manufacturing company. He began doing sports photography for high school teams in northern Ohio in 1998, publishing in over a dozen newspapers' sports sections as a freelance contributor.

He photographed the action at Heinz Field during the 2001 Pittsburgh Steelers football season and crime scenes for local law enforcements along with Michael Mastroianni. He has been professionally accredited by the American Press Association. He now switches residences between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, pursuing creative photography projects and supplying portrait photography to several private clients.
