Old Nintendo Memorabilia

  • Nintendo Cereal - I remember buying this!! Back in the early '90s, my local Weis markets sold Nintendo Cereal. I remember the box was a two-pack, with 2 different kinds of cereal in it. It used to have screenshots from Mario and some other games on it. A couple tips for games and a Nintendo Power subscription was on the side panel.

  • Super Mario Brothers Shampoo - I remember buying this too! As a matter of fact, I still have an empty bottle upstairs. I think the shampoo came in 3 or 4 different uh... flavors? No you didn't EAT it, i mean that there were 4 different kinds of Nintendo shampoo. I've seen Mario shampoo and Princess Peach shampoo. I have Mario upstairs (I might scan it someday.)

  • Nintendo Pins - My collection of Nintendo pins now consists of 9 pins. 7 of the pins are Mario-themed, like Mario with a hammer, Mario jumping, Luigi jumping, Luigi standing, Mario driving a motorcycle, Mario driving a car, and a Hammer Brother. 1 pin is of Link kneeling, and the 9th pin is the Silver Nintendo Power "Team Power" pin, which I received when I subscribed for 2 years.

  • Nintendo Bookmark - I have a Nintendo Bookmark. It features Luigi jumping over a pirhana plant, with the quote, "I think I'll skip this part" overtop of Luigi. I think it used to be my brother's.

  • Nintendo Patch - I have a Nintendo Patch. It a patch of The original Legend of Zelda. It's in the shape of a triangle, with the logo of the Legend of Zelda on it (pretty much the same one from the game title screen), with a little heart at the top. I don't remember where I got it.

  • Nintendo Wall Clock - Back in the early '90s, I got a Super Mario Brothers 2 Wall Clock. It's not a normal wall clock, It's about 4 foot long, and in the shape of a big plastic watch, that you put on your wall. The "bands" of the watch got brittle after about 8 years, and have recently tore off. Now I just have the middle clock portion hanging on my wall

  • Nintendo Lunch Box and Thermos - Like most popular things back in the late 80's/ early 90's, Nintendo made Lunch Boxes. the pic below shows a nice Nintendo Thermos.
