Muteki Hasaki's Biography

Name: Muteki Hasaki

Race: One half Akaaka Ryu (Bright Dragon), one half Human.

Nickname: Ruthless Tiger

Birthplace: Planet Earth, Japan.

Birth date: 2534 AD (Earth Years)

Age: 44 standard years old

Eyes: Stale Gray

Hair: Black

Height: 6”4

Blood type: A/B Negative

Appearance: Muteki possesses a stern, yet always compassionate face. Over time, his most duel colored eyes, which are the result of his hybrid nature glazed over to a mature status of his kind, becoming a stale gray color. The Master of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei had adapted a long, white cloak to be worn over his aqua Japanese Samurai robes. Other than the respectable change in clothing from his younger years, Muteki wears a pair of ‘gunta’ to protect his feet, which were once the standard footwear for the Samurais of Earth’s history. His sword, the Koutaku, rests in its simple wooden sheath that it tied to Muteki’s waist.

Personality: Muteki is a very serious person, but sometimes will give into a humorous attitude if the situation permits. He is highly dedicated to his swordsmanship, and always furthers himself to become stronger.

Favored Weapon: Koutaku (Brilliance) – A slender, elegant sword that resembles an elongated katana in many ways. Simple and powerful, Muteki’s weapon also is taken from Earth’s history of the Samurai, as the blade is Japanese in origin. The seemingly spotless blade always seems to glow in an unknown light, hence where it claimed its name of Koutaku, which means Brilliance. The blade shines in and out of battle as if possessed by some godly luminescence. Koutaku, when not used by Muteki during battle, rests within a very simple wooden sheath at the warrior’s waist.

Style of Swordsmanship: *Nenshou Tentou Shinsei (Burning Heaven Divinity) – The Nenshou Tentou Shinsei is an art of sword wielding that was passed down to Muteki by the previous master of the practice, Kuro Shuuken, who served as his mentor for ten long years. The style itself is focused around using the energies of the body and pushing them through the sword, creating an invincible and unbreakable weapon if completed right. This style is very dangerous to both the receiver of its techniques, and to the user, for the sword will literally be linked to the life of the warrior who uses the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei.

**Banished Nenshou Tentou Shinsei – This style of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei was banished from teachings during the early seventeenth century AD, for delving too much into the shadows and darkness. Its master, whom through his sword techniques and overwhelming amount of energy became immortal, was banished from the school for his crimes against humanity. In truth, this style only used the powers of the shadow to further the teachings of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei.

***Kibatsu Tora Ryu – This is the form of the sword that Muteki devoted himself to, after learning that this school was responsible for giving birth to the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei. Since his original style was not technically a sword style, just a way to channel his energy, Muteki had devoted himself to the school at its roots, namely the Striking Tiger. This style boasts extremely quick maneuvers as well as special stances to defend and parry oncoming attacks. Since the split between it and the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei, the school has also gained a few physical attacks.

*Nenshou Tentou Shinsei Normal Techniques: There are four normal techniques of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei, which are taught as the basics of the school.

Kuzusu – Using the standard “Battou” stance of sword fighting (Where the user sheaths his sword before dashing, and then unsheathes it to strike his opponent), the user of this technique will draw the sword in reverse, striking out with the hilt of their blade to strike their opponent in the stomach. In a quick motion after the connection, the wrist must be whirled around to bring the sword’s blade upward into a slashing motion to slit the opponent’s throat.

Haijannpu – In this technique, the user uses his or her body energy and pushes it into their blade, while thrus

ting their sword downward at the ground. The resulting pressure will launch the warrior high up into the air, which is followed up by a devastating aerial attack against any of the opponent’s vital points.

Issanni – This is one of the more favored techniques of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei. The user literally, once able to control their energy and flow it freely into their blade, can at anytime use their tapped power to launch them into a sort of “God Speed” status, where their form is a mere blur to any average eye. Almost undetectable and silent, this technique allows for the user to perform perfectly executed sneak attacks.

Higyou – Using the Issanni as a catapult against a foe, the user of this technique will literally fire themselves directly at an opponent, with the tip of their blade pointed directly outward in a missile fashion. While there is a high risk and an obvious weakness if the attack misses, the Higyou is one of the most lethal standard attacks of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei.

Nenshou Tentou Shinsei Succession Techniques: There are three techniques taught to a student of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei for the student to exceed as the new master of the sword art. They are, in reality, the three parts that effectively make up the basics of the style.

Nenshou – The ‘Fire’ essence of the school, the Nenshou is a devastating attack that is effective against any defensive stance. When a foe takes up a defensive position, or begins an impenetrable attack, the wielder of this technique can easily break through. Charging all the energy of his heart into his sword, the user explodes the blade of the sword into flames. Using the Issanni, the then begins to twirl as if he was the center of a massive cyclone, which spreads the fire just as wind would. The extreme temperatures and flames given off by this technique are said to possess an immortal flame that is unavoidable, which breaks the impenetrable attack or unbreakable defense of any foe.

Tentou – The ‘Heaven’ essence of the school, the Tentou is a holy shield of energy generated from the energies of the user’s mind. This attack can effectively block any attack, except that of the Nenshou. The user channels all the latent energy within his mind, and pushes it into the sword, which causes a crystalline barrier to appear around the user. The barrier can be instantly broken away by the user to unleash a counter attack, as the attack of his foe is bounced effortlessly off the shield.

Shinsei – The ‘Divinity’ essence of the school, the Shinsei is a reckless attack that combines the Issanni, the Kuzusu and the Higyou. This attack is said to almost never miss, but when it does, the user is left blindly open. To begin, the user sheaths his sword, just as if he was performing the Kuzusu. Launching himself with the Issanni, the user keeps the blade within its sheath, but looks as if he will perform the Higyou. However, when the user strikes, he focuses the power of his mind and his heart at once into the hilt of his blade, and uses it to strike his opponent with it, just as the Kuzusu. This attack is so fast and so devastatingly powerful, that it can effectively cut right through the Nenshou, but it cannot pierce the Tentou.

Nenshou Tentou Shinsei Ultimate Technique: Zenryoku – This is the ultimate technique of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei that the student can learn only after he has learned all of the succession techniques. As the name suggests, this attack is ‘All of one’s power’, which is its meaning. This attack literally is “The speed above god speed”, meaning that during the devastating ultimate blow, the user overtakes the Issanni’s godlike speed. The user pours all of his latent energy into his blade, until he is on the verge of collapsing and can give no more. Using the tremendous force within the sword, the user slams the blade down to the ground in an arc, which, if done correctly, will launch him at his opponent at a speed which surpasses the Issanni. During that split second of air time, the blade must be curved back upward, and brought to a slash across the opponent. This attack is unable to be blocked, no matter what the circumstances. Even if the opponent manages to dodge the Zenryoku, the attack creates a vacuum of shear speed, that the opponent is drawn to the user by the force. This allows for a relatively easy counter attack, if the user has any energy left to swing his sword. This attack is very energy draining, and most collapse after using just one.

**Banished Nenshou Tentou Shinsei Normal Techniques: There are three techniques that make up the foundation of the banished arts.

Kokuei – This technique is rather unique in the fact that it is not a direct attack, but merely a way to mask the user from their opponent. Raising his sword above his head, grasping it with both hands, the user channels their energy around their body. While it works its way up to the blade, the user concentrates on lowering, or masking, his energy. The moment the energy reaches the sword, the user strikes the blade down to the ground. The result explodes a cloud of smoke, claiming the body of the user into the shadows for ten seconds. This technique allows for stealth attacks, but isn’t very useful in direct assaults.

Fumou – Channeling his energy into the blade, the user dashes towards his opponent, running the blade across the ground. This results in radiating a black flame from the blade, igniting the sword into the dark fire. While it only lasts for a few seconds, the heat given off by the sword can easily make for a devastating upper-cut assault.

Iyashii – Instead of using his energy and pouring it into the blade, the user uses his energy and places it within his hands. Jumping high into the air, the user takes advantage of the gained strength in his palms to throw his blade towards his opponent with a flick of his wrist. This attack is very quick, and lethal.

Banished Nenshou Tentou Shinsei Ultimate Technique:

Senjutsu – This isn’t so much as an attack, as it is a passive effect on the user’s body. When the user can fully harness the dark energy within his body, and combine it with the light energy of the original Nenshou Tentou Shinsei style, a chain reaction takes place. The body’s growth and decay stops, and effectively freezes. The true balance between the banished arts and the accepted ways of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei causes the body to be frozen in time, forever ageless. This does not mean, however, that the user cannot be killed. It merely means that to normal ways of death, such as old age, the user becomes immune. He may only die within the battle field, as is the way of any true warrior. Due to the results of this technique, it needs to be performed only once ever five hundred years to ensure that the body remains in its current state.

***Kibatsu Tora Ryu Normal Techniques: The Kibatsu Tora Ryu is a style of sword that allows the opponent to attack, before the user can engage and gain the upper hand in the fight. There are two normal techniques, and a specific stance of the Striking Tiger style.

Tsume – This is the favored stance of the Kibatsu Tora Ryu. The pattern of the sword resembles that of the stance’s namesake, a claw, when it is outstretched towards the opponent. Holding the blade in an arc, pointing forward and parallel to the ground, the user will bring his right hand over to his left side, sliding his feet back, with the left extended further than the right. He then places his left hand behind the back end of his katana’s hilt, and awaits the attack of his opponent. This is a powerful stance to slash out at an enemy, once the ploy lures them in.

Kiriorosu – This lethal aerial attack is the technique that inspired the creation of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsai’s Haijannpu. Once an opponent is lured into the Tsume, the name of this attack is shouted, and the wielder uses his own strength to launch himself into the air. By his own weight and swiftness, the user comes crashing down, bringing his blade upon any of the upper vital points on his opponent’s body.

Kawasu – This is the second attack of the Kibatsu Tora Ryu, which inspired the Higyou of the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei. This attack is highly different that its descendant, however, as it does not require the launching of the user at his opponent. When his enemy is lured into the Tsume to attack, the wielder parries the weapon, and uses it as a base for which to pole vault himself into a small aerial flip over his opponent. While in mid-air, now facing the back of his enemy, the user slashes out with a clean vertical swipe, most likely at the back of his opponent’s neck.

Kibatsu Tora Ryu Ultimate Technique: Kyuukyoku – This attack is much like the speed that surpasses the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei’s insane swiftness. In fact, it inspired the Zenryoku, which is a diversion of this very attack. The principles of the two are very similar, yet the ways they are executed are very different. Bringing the katana to the Tsume stance of the Kibatsu Tora Ryu, the user arches the blade into a curved downward arc. Using the natural speed of the Kibatsu Tora Ryu, the user will dash at his opponent at speed equal to that of the Zenryoku, but draining no energy from his body other than physical exhaustion. When the opponent goes to parry the blade, the user uses it just like the Kawasu. He parries it and pole vaults himself over his opponent, but the vacuum created by his shear speed alone draws his enemy backwards. Quickly landing before his opponent is drawn to him, the user holds the blade out behind him, grasping it firmly with both palms, now reversed and curved upward. The point of the blade, when executed correctly, will pierce the enemy straight through their back, going into the heart for an instant death.

Transformations: Akaaka Ryu – Harnessing his Bright Dragon heritage, Muteki can unleash the full fury of the Dragon Brood into his body, letting the dragon DNA to morph his body into that of a Draconian. The humanoid form is literally a brilliant display of light and power, as Muteki’s body, which includes his skin, hair, eyes and everything else, becomes golden in color. Muteki also spawns a pair of golden wings, which he can use to fly through the skies as a king of the heavens. The Akaaka Ryu enhances all of Muteki’s reflexes, and almost triples his physical strength and body energy. When this form is combined with the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei School of Sword fighting, the results are immeasurable. There is no limit to the power Muteki can achieve through using this lethal combination.

Bright Dragon Attacks: Howl of Immortal Dragon – After years of honing his skills, Muteki was able to adapt a technique into the Nenshou Tentou Shinsei School of Sword Fighting specifically to be used by only him. This technique is the epitaph of his power, the climax of his achievements as a swordsman. While engulfed in his Akaaka Ryu form, Muteki can charge all of his Dragonish energy into the blade of the Koutaku, making it glow a pale gold color. Pushing all of his energy like that out of his body causes him to loose his most powerful form from lack of energy however, but the amount of power that the sword possesses after the charge is all that matters. Using his incredible speed, Muteki then launches himself directly at his opponent, using all that’s left of his body’s energy to slash the spirit of the Dragon within him at his opponent. The result is very fatal, and is unable to be blocked. The energy lying in the blade from Muteki’s Dragon form is so dangerously powerful, that it can slice through anything, unless dodged. While this attack is more powerful that the Zenryoku, it is extremely less accurate than it’s Ougi counterpart. If the attack is dodged, then there is no chance for a follow up, which the Zenryoku guarantees. However, the Howl of Immortal Dragon is a guaranteed kill, while the Zenryoku may fail against an equally strong opponent.
