Headline for today: Scouts march into the arena carrying the 84 flags of the nations represented. Also, A panoramic view of the jamboree site at the Asagiri Heights on the western slope of Mt. Fuji.
The big event for Tuesday was the "Wide Game". This is when you are given a card with a letter on it. The object is the spell out the phrase "Be Prepared", with other scouts and then go to the central tower to celebrate. The letters are mixed all across the Jamboree so you will have to join with scouts of other nations to be successful.

Tuseday was also when the daily features of the Jamboree opened. You could go on a Jungle Trail; an Archery range was set up; go boating/canoeing; there were hiking trails; Fishing; cross-country orienteering; Swimming and there was a nature trail for you to enjoy.

After Supper we participated in an intertroop exchange campfire, where we visited some French scouts who were camped next to us.
