The team averaged 52 points per game, but this number was skewed due to an 81-17 and 90-19 wins over North Texas and Greenville. The team earned the third playoff seed and played at Columbus. Columbus defeated the Wildcatters twice in the regular season by scores of 54-26 and 58-55. The Wildcatters were again defeated in Georgia, 61-26 to end their season.
