The New Mexico Stars were a 2012 expansion team. The team was led by Arkelon Hall, who threw for 2,189 yards, 36 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. Tim Bush caught 39 balls for 470 yards and five touchdowns. The team lost four games by nine points or less, but was also held to scoring just nine points by Colorado and Allen.
