The Bricktown Brawlers were an Oklahoma City expansion team for the IFL's 2011 season. The team did not fair well, scoring just 292 points and winning two games. Nate Samas spent the most time at quarterback for the Brawlers, passing for 854 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 picks. Overall, the team passed for 21 scores and Landon Turner snagged eight of these to go with his team-leadi 351 yards. On defense, Edward Moore made three of the team's eight picks. The Brawlers lost their first home game by three points to eventual division winner Allen and then won by nine and four over rivals Amarillo and West Texas. However, by week seven of the regular season, the team had fallen apart financially and after an 84-30 beatdown at the hands of Sioux Falls, semipro replacement players became the norm for Bricktown. Their next home game would be a 51-14 loss and the replacements were shutout at Arizona, 77-0.
