The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz moved from the af2 to the new AFL in 2010. The Dawgz didn't have great success in af2, and it carried over for their first year in the big leagues. Tommy Grady led the team at quarterback, throwing for 4,307 yards, 81 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. He spread the ball around quite a bit, with four receivers catching at least 14 scores. Timon Marshall and Craig Fulton Jr. led the way, combining for 1,793 yards and 35 scores. Chad Cook and AFL veteran Al Hunt each ran for eight scores. The Dawgz went 6-10, posting a 5-3 home record. The team did participate in one of the wildest AFL games ever, though. Against Bossier-Shreveport, the Dawgz trailed 79-69 with under three minutes to go. The Battlewing lead was cut to 79-75 with 33 ticks left on the clock. Oklahoma City then held Bossier to a fourth down, on which Bossier decided to kick a field goal. It was blocked, and with four seconds left, Oklahoma took the 82-79 lead. On the next kickoff, Bossier fumbled, and Oklahoma ran it in for the score with no time left, winning 88-79. The team folded after the 2010 season.
