The Wichita Stealth was a mediocre franchise in the AF2. They would finish their first season at 7-9, dropping their final four games by a combined 63 points. 2002 was not much kinder, but the Stealth managed to make the playoffs at 6-10, where they would lose in the first round to Peoria by a single point. In 2003, the team was part of the only tie in AF2 history. In the first quarter of the game between the Stealth and Bakersfield Blitz, #42 Julian Yearwood for the Blitz collapsed and died. The Stealth would once again make the playoffs, but lost in the first round to Hawaii by 27 points. After starting the 2004 season at 7-3, the Stealth would go on to lose five of their last six to finish at 8-8 and miss the playoffs. The team folded following the 2004 season.
