2012 Foals
All our 2012 foals are due to arrive the first three weeks of May. Please stop back and see!
All foals born at Hidden Timber Ranch are AMHA/AMHR registered unless otherwise stated. All foals will be sold with their registration papers, no foal will be sold on application! Each foal is given individual attention and by the time they leave our farm they have learned to tie, lead, and pick up their feet. Our foals do equally well in the show ring, the breeding shed or as loving companions. All the mares were vaccinated before foaling in order to make sure that all the foals have full immunity. A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 will hold any foal until weaning, balance will be due before pick-up. All foals sell with a negative coggins and health certificate when needed. Foals are weaned at approximately four months of age. The sires and dams of the following foals can be seen on our stallion and mare pages. Hidden Timbers Shining Streak
Our first foal of the year was born May 1 at 9:30 p.m. Shiney is a gorgeous chestnut tovero filly with one blue eye, huge blaze and super straight legs. She is identically marked from side to side. This pretty girl is as sweet as she is pretty. This fillies leg measurements indicate she should mature very close to 34". She is out of our homozygous toby mare, Annie and sired by Streaker she has tested positive for lwo. Congratulations to Mike Vogt and Amanda on their purchase of Shiney and Rosie! * * * SOLD * * *
Hidden Timbers War Rose
Rosie was born on May 3 at 10:30 a.m. Sired by our War Chief and out of Sunrae Cherry Charmer.
Bald face and bright blue eyes, we'll test her to see which of her parents overo gene she carries. Very feminine and correct little girl that should mature A size. Rosie has tested lwo positive like her daddy. To top it off she is just as sweet as can be! * * * SOLD * * *
Hidden Timbers The Streak Goes On
Our first colt of the year and he's a beautiful sorrel and white tovero with two bright blue eyes. Super friendly little fellow who just wants to crawl in your lap and get scratched. Born May 8 at 11:15 p.m. he measured 21". Out of our very own Charming Streak and sired by Running Springs Wall Painter, a tiny black and white homozygous toby stallion. Toppers overo is splash and he has tested lwo negative, he is safe to breed to any mare. This nice little colt will stay A size. Hidden Timbers Streak of Pearls
Pearl entered the world on May 11 at 1:30 a.m. Snow white with bright blue eyes this little girl is very special. She is sired by our Streaker and out of Jewel and like all of Jewels foals she is sweet and gentle and friendly. This pretty girl is just getting better and better with every day that passes. For those of you unfamiliar with the white overos, Pearl is deaf. It seems every year there is one foal that figures out that if it loves up the humans enough it'll get to stay. That's our Pearly, she gives kisses and follows me around like a puppy pleading for more attention. Pearl has tested positive for LWO and homozgyous for the splash white overo gene. I'm sorry but I think Pearl will simply have to remain here with us.
Hidden Timbers Liberty Streak
Libby was born on May 12th at 3:30 a.m.. Solid bay filly with a pretty head and big eyes, the right one is blue, she is registered AMHA. Her test results have come in and she is lwo negative. Sired by Streaker and out of Alibi she is super correct. Libby goes back to Rowdy on both sides of her pedigree. This pretty girl just loves her back scratches! None of the foals make me smile like little Libby, a bundle of energy, she loves to run her mothers legs off. Merry Christmas Molly!!! * * * SOLD * * *
Hidden Timbers Keep on Streakin
I named this perfect little guy Keeper but we are going to offer him for sale. He is a tiny one, I don't expect he'll ever see 30". Born on May 17 at 2:45 a.m. Black and white with bright blue eyes, very unusual facial markings on a pretty little head. This boy is correct in every way and has a sweet and friendly personality. Quite certain he will test lwo positive like his mom, Hidden Timbers Streak of Glitter, his sire is Running Springs Wall Painter. Keepers tests are in and he is indeed lwo positive. Chance was born May 19 at 8:30 a.m. He is a big, strong solid bay boy sired by our War Chief and out of Isabel. This one is bred to drive!
