The Masked Assassin, one-half
of the Masked Duo with the Masked Express, had long been
known as having one of the all-time losing streaks. Since
his debut in 1996, the Masked Assassin ran off a losing
streak that lasted seven years and two months.
Seven years and two months
because at RAMPAGE (12/13/03), the Masked Assassin defeated
Nasty Nick in a Keystone title quarterfinal. Unfortunately
for the celebrating Masked One, he slipped on a wet puddle
while high-fiving the crowd and sprained his ankle.
The Masked Duo shocked CWF fans and indeed the entire wrestling world when in October 2007 they upset Powerhouse Hughes and J-Ru to win the CWF Tag Team titles. After an amazing 6-month reign, they lost the CWF Tag Team titles to The Mercenaries in June 2008.
The Masked Duo just prove that the competition in the CWF is second-to-none!
