TRAPPE
THUNDER 2003 CHAMPIONS
2003
Collegeville Men's MVP
MOOSE
From Trappe Thunder
Well deserved honor played against
Moose for years, good solid player he could make any team better.
He lost a little as the years have
gone by but he's still a great hitter and comes through in the clutch.
Good to see ya still making a difference.
See ya all next year... Chaz
GAME 1
RECAP
Thunder made a huge comeback trailing Blue by 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win game one. The sub par hitting performance of Thunder could not catch up to Blue as we made at least 14 fly outs. Mono led off the bottom of the 7th with a single follwed by another single by Moose. Halter had a bases clearing triple to center field and he scored on a single by Brain Swavely to tie the game. Razzles then moved to 3rd on a Tony Jordan single. Chris Weaver was intentionally walked to load the bases. Joboo then counted him on a shallow sacrifice fly to win the game. GAME 2 WILL BE TONIGHT, no if ands or buts!!
GAME 2 RECAP
Thunder took game 2 by the score of 15-0. Thunder was led by the great fielding of Chris Monaco who turned at least 2 double plays and Jamie Heflin who pitched a shut out. Thunder's bats were led by Chris Weaver who had a HR and a triple and also earned his first dollar. It must have been beacuse he actually came back to the Trappe after the game...another 1st. The game winning hit was by Kevin Adgalene when he knocked in Allen Smith. Great game Thunder.
