Welp. I officially love my Gazelle.
I was supposed to go to work today w/Bull to keep my mind off of my leg, but I just couldn't! I woke up when he got up for work which was 5AM and layed in bed and realized, "it's too early"..so i had Bull wake me up before he left for work @ 6:30 (he gets there for 7AM) and I went downstairs and ran till I the floor was covered in sweat. (ok, a little far fetched there - but I ran 4 miles) I love that Gazelle. You can deff. feel where it's working. There are certain exercises that work certain places and the one I love is where you bend your knees a lot and keep your back straight and hold the bars & it's supposed to be all your theighs and YES IT IS! I feel it. They are going to be impressed in PT when I ask for more weight on my machines! HeHe..
Ahhhh....I love this stupid Gazelle.
My next item is the X-Flex Full Body Machine. :)

So Dr Hasselman was shocked when Kathy told him I got that Gazelle. Kathy called and she was like, "He was like, 'How the hell does she use that? With her boot?' Then I said nope, with her AFO but her foot keeps sliding!"
Then he asked if I can do it good & Kathy said "She can get miles and miles. She went 2 miles this morning, than another 2 miles then 1 and so on. She's good at it!"
So he's impresesd and said "GOOD FOR HER!!!! THATS GREAT! TELL HER TO KEEP IT UP!"
LOL. I love that fuckin Gazelle. I'm so glad I got it. :)
I love my my Gazelle. We went today to get it and I love it. It took a while to build it...but it's so worth it. I feel it in my back and shoulders a lot. I dont think it was made for a handi capped person because as you do it with my afo on, my right foot slides...lol...and i have to stop every 5 minutes to put my foot back on the center of that foot thing. but it is fun!
It was a good thing to spend my $ on.
I burned 103 calories today. That's one back of 100 Calories Cookies. LOL..Not that I can eat them because it's all chocolaty, but still, you get the gist. :)
PT was good today. Tom and me had a few good chats. He called me a "Closet Steeler Fan." LOL....Ok, I don't like like the Steelers, they are finally doing this good this season so why not be happy? HaHa...Plus Ben is so cute so I should wear his shirt! What would I wear to the games besides?!
We were standing @ the window & we were talking about the parking lot and how if there wasn't a spot, do you have to keep driving around & he laughed. I always wondered where the people that work there park & they have the front lot. It's like fucking bumper to bumper parking though. I wonder how they get in and out of that...Oh well.
I talked to Kathy today (she just called) and she was cheering me up. I was kinda pissed today about an ordeal that happened and I always tell Kathy about my problems. She said to forget about it all and just worry about getting better because once I get back to school and get on with my life, I'll never worry about the ones that don't understand me and this RSD. Screw stupid people. I hate people.
I wanna go work out on that Gazelle.
I lifted it into the cart off the floor, into the Jeep and out of the Jeep and onto the porch, dragged it into the house, and down the basement steps and put it together. LOL.
It's those damn crutches that I carried myself on for fuckin 6 months that made my arms strong! Haha. Kelly got a Gazelle and she had a lot of trouble lifting the box...I was quite proud. I told her and she's like.."You lifted it by yourself!?!?" It was a nice big heavy box! Ya...I did good. I feel the burn. :)

Kathy emailed me from work & said Dr Hasselman asked about me today! She said he always walks past her and asks, "Hows my buddy Case?!"
I remember back in the day, she said for him to remember a patients name is odd...and he knew mine from way back the 1st time I went to see him. Probably cause Kathy got me in there and he knew about me before I even went to see him. Well she did say he feels soooo bad for me...HaHa...Pitty...I hate it.
Today in PT we did some cool thing with a thing. HaHa...Whatever. It felt soooooooo good on my leg!
We went to Cabela's in West Virgina on Friday. The store is over rated. They say it's supposed to be massive...it's not that huge. We spent more time in the check out line than in the entire store.
So fucking BUSY.
I found out I can't walk w/out my AFO. I didn't strap the stap on the front of my leg because well, I was trying on many shoes and it would be quicker to just slide it off instead of doing the velcro over and over and over, and anyhoo, I took a step and I didn't even get to move my left foot...I just fell to the ground. LOL. I felt like a fucking retard. Wonder what it looked like to others to just see a girl take a step and fall straight down. LOL.

Got my new rat today!
Lexus died. Poor baby. I miss her so much but I'm sure she's happier where she is. So I put her in her jean leg that she loved to lay in, sealed her in a poptart box and burried her in the backyard.
Delta & Einstein (she's a girl but I liked that name) aren't to fond of each other. Delta want's it to be known that SHE is the owner of this cage.
Einstein got her little foot stuck in the wire already...LOL...so Kelly gave me fabrick that I covered the floors of the levels in. They seem to like it. They cuddle up to it.
Did a lot of updating today.
Had a rough morning.
Got rid of General Tso because she attacked my pointer finger and put a hole right through my fucking finger. It still hasn't stopped bleeding. My luck it's now got RSD.

Physical therapy has been ok.
My last day was Thursday the 16th. Last day for a week because I need a break! I'm so pooped.
Amy's last day is the 23rd, but I'm not going to be there that week...I'm going to miss her.
I had a contrast bath Thursday in PT and she was there doing that with me. It's were you dunk your foot in hot hot water for 4 minutes and then cold cold water for 1 minute & it's supposed to take the swelling down. It took it down A LITTLE but not much.
But after that, I sat there on my bed and Amy got on with me and I just cried. It's just so depressing to see my foot so HUGE!
(I gave her & Tom their Christmas presents on Monday. Tom loved his mug!)

I fucking hate RSD.
Kathy called from work today & said she showed Dr H that picture and he's like.."HOLY SHIT." and "That matches her nail polish!" LOOOOL. Kathy and me were in tears while we were on the phone. She calls from work now and then to check up on me when I'm not in my email. :)
He said if it's still that awful to go right to the hospital & get checked for another blood clot. It's not that purple..Just my toes...so I was ok to do whatever.
We went to Kelly's house today for her birthday.
We had pizza and DQ cake..I didn't eat the cake cause it was an ice cream cake &
1) I hate ice cream.
and
2) I can't have cocolate.
I've been doing good @ this no chocolate thing!
