Project:
1953 Ford F-100 Pickup
Commonly known as an "Effie"

We previously had a '56 F-100 in the family, & I always liked the style of these trucks. After much consideration, I settled on the '53 pictured below.

It is in fairly decent condition, better than you would expect after 50 years of service. I am planning a "frame off" restoration.
Previous Modifications:

Not many. A 1967 283, coupled with a 350 trans has been swapped in by a previous owner. The motor mount setup needs to be reworked... The 283 runs strong, has good compression; however, I plan on replacing the current setup, most likely with a 302 or 351. I want to keep the Ford running "All Ford"! The rear axle is a stock Dana 44, will be upgrading to a Ford 9".
Planned Modifications:

Many! I will attempt to categorize the modifications somewhat, along with current progress, in the following links...

I am planning on using the truck as a "daily driver"...
