Statement: I am a proud graduate of Center High School "Class of 1977". Since

Graduation, I have remained in the Center Area School District. Having

Spent 4 years as a school director, I know what it takes , not only main-

Tain, but to enhance the ever changing needs of our youth. Though our

1^st obligation is to our children, we have an equally challenging obligation

to the community of Center Twp. We must be able to curb careless

spending, yet must not curb progress. We must reach out to the

community for its resources, yet we must not let those resources control

the minds of our board. Finally, the examples in guidance and leader-

ship and the values we instill in our children today as a community, will be

what they become as a community tomorrow.
