Bubbler Applet * mouse over image for Bubbler effect....
| |
|
This tutorial is on the Bubbler Applet. You can
use any image you like for this one. And, you can even change the
size and color of the bubbles. So lets's get some codes and get
started.
There is little or no preparation required for
the image. I would choose
something wide
enough to get the full effect of the
bubbles.
Don't forget to compress your image
if you
are using a large one.
You will need two class files to make the
applet work. The Bubbler.class and the
Bubbler.jar You will find these in the files
section
at Yahoo. I have highlighted the changes
that
need to be made in red below. You can also
make changes to the sizes and number of
bubbles if you wish.
For Stationery Use :
<APPLET codeBase= " http://your website addy goes here/
"
code=Bubbler.class align=top width=432 height=334><PARAM NAME="background" VALUE=" http://your website addy/applets/image name. jpg"><PARAM NAME="key" VALUE="cacowcbu"><PARAM NAME="minbubblesize" VALUE="5"><PARAM NAME="speed" VALUE="10"><PARAM NAME="tile" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="bubblenumber" VALUE="40"><PARAM NAME="growthrate" VALUE="50"><PARAM NAME="host" VALUE="javabase"><PARAM NAME="delay" VALUE="10"><PARAM NAME="applethomepage" VALUE="http://go.to/javabase"><PARAM NAME="bubblecolor" VALUE="326ACB"><PARAM NAME="maxbubblesize" VALUE="15"></APPLET> For Webpages Use :
<APPLET code=Bubbler.class align=top width=432 height=334><PARAM
NAME="background" VALUE="http://your website
addy/applets/name of
image.jpg"><PARAM NAME="key"
VALUE="cacowcbu"><PARAM NAME="minbubblesize" VALUE="5"><PARAM
NAME="speed" VALUE="10"><PARAM NAME="tile" VALUE=""><PARAM
NAME="bubblenumber" VALUE="40"><PARAM NAME="growthrate"
VALUE="50"><PARAM NAME="host" VALUE="javabase"><PARAM
NAME="delay" VALUE="10"><PARAM NAME="applethomepage"
VALUE="http://go.to/javabase"><PARAM
NAME="bubblecolor" VALUE="326ACB"><PARAM NAME="maxbubblesize"
VALUE="15"></APPLET>
That is all there is
to it. I can't wait to see what you come up with as your
Bubbler creation. Hope you didn't have too much trouble following my
instructions. If you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate
to ask Karen, Shari or any of the members of the group for
assistance.
We will be glad to
help you.
Hugs,
Karen
