Saint Adalbert’s Alumni
Association, Inc.
Newsletter
August, 2003
Several inquiries have been
made regarding seating for the Dinner.
Originally, the Executive Board was planning to seat according to class,
however, if you have a group that you would like to sit with you can submit
your request in writing. There will be
10 at a table. Please send your table
request to: JUDY WACLAWSKI, 341
EDITH STREET, PITTSBURGH, PA
15211. Please include all
names and a phone number in your request.
If we do not hear from you, we will arrange the seating. All requests must be made on or before
October 10th.
To commemorate this
Anniversary, we are preparing a Program Book for distribution to the Alumni who
will attend the Dinner Dance. All
money generated from this Program Book will be distributed to our Scholarship
Program. Your generosity towards
our fundraising has always been overwhelming.
Since its inception in 1984, we have seen 116 young people benefit from
our Scholarship Awards. With your
continue support we will be able to continue helping these young people as they
begin their college education. An ad form is enclosed and remember that your donation is
tax-deductible.
FOOTBALL DERBY TICKETS
– 2003
Football Derby tickets are now available. Since we are not selling the Enjoy and Entertainment Books this year, we hope you will support this fundraising effort.
The Derby begins October 19, 2003 and runs each week for 10 weeks and you have 8 chances each week to win. Each ticket costs $10 (that is $1 a week). Every team has a letter and you add your 3 teams total for that week. You win when your 3 team total is highest, lowest, etc. If you are a winner you will automatically receive a check in the mail. All prize money will be given away every week. In case of a tie, the prize money will be split between the winners. Winners will be posted in the newsletters.
You can order your tickets by calling: Judy Waclawski (412) 488-8588, Irene Manko (412) 481-3598, John Bartus (412) 884-3378, Sue Wesolowski (412) 481-2698, Joe Rogozinski (412) 381-7123, Dolly Mogan (412) 431-4730, Lorraine Filip (412) 481-1686, Theresa Cygrymus (412) 381-0346 and Irene Wojciechowicz (412) 431-1693.
